Poiana Neamtului - Pensiune - Ferma de Cerbi — Hotel in Avrig

Review for end of September 2022: last 4 km of the road before reaching this place is a mix of gravel/asphalt. In summer/autumn I could drive with a regular city car this road (thus SUVs are not compulsory); You cannot miss the place, as the road is being blocked by a barrier immediately after the building. There are some limited parking spaces Restaurant serves tasty meals, there is a daily menu, 1 type of sour, 2 types of second dishes, and a dessert. Food is prepared on the spot (excep soups). I would say the serving size was quite large. Payment by card accepted at the restaurant. Service was quite fast. Don't expect a large restaurant, 6-8 tables on the inside, 5 tables on the sunny terrace outside. Beautiful view towards the mountains.

Seeing the Cervidae / Deers: There is a guided tour (you cannot go in by yourself. Admission prices: 15 lei / Adult, 7 lei / child. This admission was only in cash. Guided tours happen between certain hours Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 and 15:00 (edited). Better call ahead to inform if there are changes. The caretaker man guiding the tour was super friendly, a lot of interesting information was given, I've witnessed only Romanian language spoken. Kids do love this experience, there was one female deer that was eating corn beans from kids hand. You are not allowed to touch/pet the deers, only to offer them food given by the tour staff by reaching out and expanding your hand. Deers were super gentle with a toddler of 3-4 years, there was no risk of being bitten in the feeding process.

Would definitely come back during the winter season, when deers should be more eager to be hand fed.

Din momentul în care am aflat de existența acestui loc, am plănuit să vizităm ferma imediat ce programul nostru a făcut acest lucru posibil. Astfel că, așa cum se înțelege de la sine..eram și foarte entuziasmați. După vizită, am rămas cu un gust amar din cauza ghidului care a fost precum un "ghimpe în coastă". De la prima interacțiune.. atitudinea lui a lăsat de dorit și a ridicat câteva semne de întrebare. L-am simțit ca fiind o persoană agitată și pasiv-agresivă și care, probabil, dorește să se dea în spectacol. Nu ne-am bucurat pe cât am fi vrut de experiență din cauza lui. Face remarci și comentarii lipsite de bun simț și pare că suferă de un complex de superioritate. Știind deja unele informații, privirea îmi era ațintită spre animale (deoarece, cu ele nu eram familiarizată), chiar dacă el explica x aspect, nu i-am acordat atenție,iar, acest lucru l-a ofensat vizibil. Eu consider că am dreptul să îmi direcționez atenția unde îmi doresc, mai ales când plătesc și o sumă de bani. (am venit pentru animale, nu pentru el) Cu părere de rău, pe viitor nu mai iau în calcul vizita fermei căutând să mă orientez spre locuri cu personal mai amabil/prietenos. Nu recomand pentru persoane senzitive/empatice interacțiunea aceasta și dacă problema nu se remediază, aș sugera și schimbarea personalului. 5 steluțe pentru animăluțe!! Editarare- am venit sa vizităm ferma în timpul programului( în data de 17 iulie și l-am avut ca și ghid pe domnul Daniel(administratorul) in jurul orei 17 a avut loc vizita) Care este problema daca celalalte recenzii date de mine sunt toate de o stea? Nu incercati sa manipulati va rog, nu este cazul si nu o sa va permit. Las recenzii de o stea acolo unde chiar consider ca este cazul. De altfel, nu am nimic de câștigat din defaimarea imaginii nimanui, pur si simplu am vrut sa previn astfel de experinte in cazul altor persoane. Vă rog reciti-va recenziile pentru ca de comportamentul necivilizat al personalului se vorbeste adesea in recenziile pe care le aveti, nu este ceva chiar nou pentru echipa si...

One of the best place we stayed during our trip in Romania. Beautifull location, between mountains, forests and relaxing sound of rivers. Very well maintained, super clean, smiling and friendly service. Very good food, price and quality, maybe a little lack of vegetables. But excellent ciorbas, michis, chicken and potatoes. Tremendous breakfast with very good quality home made cheeses and great meat delicatessen. The visit with the deers is an unique and respectfull experience. Great place to go hiking to Cabana Barcaciu, Negoiu, Avrig Lake. Also for horse riding in Avrig. Tremendous view from the rooms. Loved it and we'll come back ;-) Thanks again to all the...
