The things I liked: - clean and not small room (I could say spacious, but the thing they did with a sliding doors is not a good solution for the the suite) - nice bathroom - you can fill up a bottle with cold spring or plain water in the restaurant - the spa is spacious with various saunas and pools The things I disliked: - transparent doors in the bathroom - instead of two separate rooms for a suite, there’s one room separated by a huge sliding door (no chance for privacy when staying with a kid) - air conditioning was weird to adjust - lack of fresh air in the main bedroom when the sliding doors are closed, as air from the window can’t get in - I couldn’t figure out how to use the heating rack to dry the swimming suit and sandals I was wearing for the spa - the breakfast was quite disappointing: I’d expect better variety of home-made quality food typical for the eastern-European restaurant. Here it was an under-cooked boiled egg (?), dried out fried eggs, a small selection of cheese and meats. No milk, no cottage cheese, no yoghurt, no fruit, no pen cakes, no crepes. It’s not entirely bad, but still not up to expectations - the hotel was half empty when we arrived, yet when we asked if we could stay past noon to wait for our airplane, the receptionist wanted us to pay for an extra day (a little bit of kindness in a situation when there’s not much of a demand could be appreciated) - in the spa, I witnessed safety violations of spectacular proportions: an open door in the floor to the cellar next to the swim pool, leading to the cellar at least 3 meters deep — you’re welcome to fall right into it; - electric wires lying right on the wet floor - construction work done near the pool (change of floor tiles) with clients swimming right next to the site. I’d say, it might be something that locals don’t find disturbing. On the whole, the hotel is ok, the spa is nice, but don’t raise the bar of your expectations too high.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience and will never return to this hotel, nor do I recommend it. I have booked my stay from Sunday 28th of January until Wednesday 31st of January. Everything was fine until today (30th of January) at 02.00am when I arrived at the hotel and was surprised that the main entrance door was closed and I could not get into the hotel although they say reception open 24/7. I tried knocking at the door several minutes but without any luck. Bear in mind that there were -10 degrees outside at that time and in the middle of the winter. Eventually I had to call the police who have arrived and managed to speak with someone from the inside to allow access. The lady from the reception was very upset because I disturbed her sleep and was knocking at the door and asked me to go to my room, pack my bags and leave the hotel although I was already inside at this point and just wanted to go to sleep. She has also lied to the police by saying that she called them because she was worried why I was knocking, when in fact I was the one who called them. I have done what she asked and left the hotel around 3.30 am. I eventually found another hotel and will definitely not return here. If you don’t want to be in a similar situation to mine I suggest you avoid this place and look for a more central location which actually has 24/7 reception and where the staff are there to help you. Also, there is a building site just across the road where they start working every day from 7am

Excellent hotel with outstanding amenities! The food was incredible and the staff is very friendly and courteous! This beautiful venue has everything! Dining, drinks, spa, pool, great staff and superb rooms! The hotel restaurant offers a variety of menu options and the bar staff can make any drink you prefer (Aperol Spritz was the summertime hit). The rooms are very nice and the beds extremely comfortable! I slept so well here, it was fantastic! The hotel offers a spa, salt room, sauna, full sized indoor pool and other spa options. I did not participate but those in my group who did, were very impressed. We had a lengthy stay, and a daily Red Gym Gold pass was part of our accommodations. The gym is great- lots of new equipment and very clean! My only minor issue with the gym is the music was played too loud-made it difficult to hear my own music thru my headphones. Other than that, the gym is 5 star! The gym is separate from the hotel and not included in a regular stay; inquire if a pass can be purchased. Totally worth it. I highly recommend you stay at Fiald Hotel and Spa.
