Pensiunea Doru — Hotel in Beliș

We are loyal customers for 7,8 years now. It is nice to see the place transform to what the owners are envisioning. It is evolving organically, no big bang approach. The rooms are simple yet impeccably clean and cozy. My favorite place is the restaurant and the yard. It is homey and it feels like going to visit family more than going at a hotel. The latest concept, the therapy services are amazing! Not everything is perfect, the pool was not working when we were there this weekend but for us it was not a priority as we wanted to spend more time outdoors. We visited Pension Doru during a teambuilding session with 20 accountants. They organized an unforgettable 1,5 hour tour by horse and carriage with a sleigh on the snow to the nearby lake. Afterwards we enjoyed the warm atmosphere of drinks and food of the restaurant. We had the luck to be hosted by Daniela, who was the best imaginable host for our group. Outstanding place. Incredible view, you can enjoy a panorama of the Apuseni Mountains right from the location. Good accomodation, cosy rooms. When you think you're in the wilderness, cows almost everywhere and horses running free, it's very surprising to find there a brand new SPA, modern and fully equiped.
