GO THERE ONLY FOR THE VIEW IF YOU DON'T WANT THE SAME EXPERIENCE WE HAD !!!
I can't give five stars for Fisherman just thinking at the view because it's nature that made the beauty of the place not Fisherman's Resort, it was just pure luck to be built in that location, so i'm going to rate the Resort and it's services.
The Restaurant it's very well designed, the terrace it's nice and protected from the wind , the view from the terrace it's spectacular, after sitting at a table where some guests just happened to leave, we sat down and admired the view and also the empy glasses and plates left behind from the other guests for half an hour, but at least whe had their menu and had time to decide what we wanted to order, we waved at the waiter to com and clean the table but we had no succes, and the restaurant wasn't that busy, after the half hour had past, the waiter arrived and asked:"do you want to order?" "yes but first... clean the table and come back " i answered , big mistake, he went and took 3 glasses and came back after another 10 minutes, at that point we were tinking about leaving but it was to nice on the terrace so we made a compromise, and decided to remain, after he came back the second time he brought some menu's even though the menu's were already on the table and took our order, after another 15 minutes or so he came back with the drinks and forgot one beer, just to clarify, we were 4 people that ordered 2 beers, 2 sodas and 2 plates of food, so it wasn't that big of an order, even though we had to adjust our order becuse the waiter answer for many of the items on the menu was" Sorry we don't have it". Meanwhile i decided t go to the bathroom to wash my hands before the food arrived and i almost got stuck to the floor of the bathroom because it was so sticky, and while in the bathroom where the wc is, I noticed that the window of the bathroom was transparent and on the lateral terrace of the restaurant that was closed but still, somehow i managed to get out of the bathroom. For the food we decided to try they're signature dish "Ceafa Fisherman", another bad decision, becuse we asked the waiter how it was made and he said it was marinated pork neck, pleased with the answer we decided to try it. It arrived fairly quick within 20 minutes or so, but the product described wasn't at all what we recieved, i worked in a traditional romanian restaurant and i saw many romanian foods especially the famous "CEAFA" and what we recieved was not marinated pork neck it was some cured, salted pork neck , probably boiled for the beans and pork soup and afterwards cut into slices and grilled., The taste wasn't bad but it wasn't at all what we expected from a marinated pork neck, and it wasn't even chea taking into consideratio that it didnt have any side dish icluded. The cherry on the top of this experience was the answer of the waiter in excuse for not having a mixed pickled salad even though at the time of the order he didn't said so. He brought the supposed salad when we were almost finished eating and said : Sorry we only have pickled cucumber , you know we're not in season yet!", NO I DON'T KNOW, when i go to a restaurant that it's open i expect that at least the food items on the menu to be there, i can understand the drinks but still.. I know it's not his fault but the manager could at least prepare them for the akward situations he will be put in by the clients for this kind of responses. I'll end this review with an advice for the resort manager,, if you are not prepared to open before the sumer season start, do not open just to make money, and ruin the experience of that magnificient view for...
