Restaurant Pensiune Montana Popa — Hotel in Blaj

We booked a stay here in the beginning of june. Is a place in the very heart of the city Blaj and they have a restaurant with terrace also. The food was tasty if you are a Romanian food lover, but the carbonara was cooked with a cheese cream or something so is a no no. The rooms were very clean and recently renovated. The breakfast was included and was pretty nice. The only thing is that they don't have an elevator and is not comfortable for a person with disabilities. I eat romanian mici, pork steak, mushroom cream soup, drink a lot of wonderful lemonade, and visited this lovely little city in the heart of Romania. I recommend the place, and i would mention the personal that was very helpful and never said no...

We stayed here multiple times and every time we come back we are so grateful for the comfort it is offered by this wonderful host. Everything is perfect here. It is locared right in centrum of Blaj city, very closed to all turistic atractions. The rooms are big and very modern with exceptional cleaning. The conditions are as of 5 star hotel. The beds are very comforrable with very quality matrasses. Fresh and fine air... They have a very nice spa and gym. Great place to stay, directly in the center on Blaj. The hotel is recently renovated, very elegant and detail oriented. Had a difficult time getting the air condition started, but that is entirely on me 😅! Well furnished, comfort oriented, tall ceilings, comfortable bed. Restaurant is very traditional oriented,food is delicious. I have been coming here since years and know exactly what I like already, so I might be biased.
