The place is located just outside the main road, about 1km away from the entrance to Bran Castle. It's located high above, so it's really quiet and isolated. The last 100m is somewhat sketchy (will make you take a second to think if you're going the right way) if you arrive after dark, but it has signs to guide you. The is free parking for about 10 cars, so plenty for everyone, given that they have 10 rooms. They have a small playground for kids which is sufficient for kids 6 and under, a big forrest in the back which is uphill but still well accesible for a short hike. They feature a restaurant on site which is open only for guests and the rooms can also include a free continental breakfast which is plentifull when compared to a healthy portion (from 2, you can feed 2 adults plus a small child and still have some leftovers). The food choices are not varied in the a-la-carte menu, but you can always discuss with the owner ahead of time and he is kind enough to find suitable options. Also, he takes pride in the food prepared, so if he does not find the necessary ingredients to prepare the food at their standard, they will simply not buy, to ensure the health and satisfaction of the guest. If you stay here, you definitely need to try the papanasi. They are exquisite: soft, with cream and jam of their own reciepe. We visited over the weekend, on a holiday and they included free of charge a campfire at night and a barbeque the next day for everyone. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived by the cleanliness and kindness...
Read moreA very beautiful vacation spot! A gem for our family! The spectacular views. We had an amazing full week there! Even the spot for children was great for all our children from the little ones to the older ones. The terrace was huge for our family, we spend evening there at the BBQ and chatting over the beautiful sunset. We had breakfast there every morning served! Delicious! Even for vegetarians! Mr. Laur was extremely understanding and willing to do everything possible to make us feel comfortable and happy. We celebrated special events and the menu was excellent for all of us. We could not miss the Romanian Papanasi( romanian dessert) in a welcomed atmosphere for all ages. For sure we...
Ajungi sa ceri paine in plus? In camera exista mocheta de culoare inchisa.
