Hotel Carpathia Remeti din Muntii Apuseni — Hotel in Bulz

We went there for the 2019 Easter holiday. Long way from Bucharest (mainly due to Romanian roads, unfortunately) but totally worth it! First thing that strikes you when you arrive is the scenery, the road just opens and the hotel lies there surrounded with a vast playground. Included in the price are a tennis field, football/basketball court, another football yard, sand/volley and an outdoor pool. Plus you have a playroom with Nintendo/Xbox games etc. And I'm not mentioning the spa, also included in the price of the room.||But the main thing worth mentioning is the openness and warmth of the owners and the staff - whatever you have to ask they have an answer :) ||I also liked that, as we were there for the Easter, they've also arranged a walk trip to the church in the village, so that the priest gave us an interesting speech of the history of the area/church etc. Also, at the hotel we had a lot of activities even for the kids to enjoy - speaking of kids, as I've said before, you can leave them all day without any worries to play outside :))) Also they keep some rabbits, deers and horses so for small kids another thing to enjoy!||The rooms were large, big beds, nice bathroom, clean carpet all-over and a lot of heat so we had to turn off the heaters (better to have more and to turn off than to not have at all, right?)||The restaurant was super-ok, very good food, rich breakfast with a lot of local products. And the prices were quite affordable. Apart from the steaks [Mmmm :)], french fries from fresh potatoes (not frozen, so that's also a plus) , I must say the trout was very tasteful and one needs to try it. ||One last thing worth mentioning is the quality of the Wi-Fi signal, especially if you consider the location. With a hotel full of clients one can easily browse the internet, something that it is rarely found.||All in all, I really recommend this place, especially for a family vacation. Just outside the hotel is a nice cave to explore (just don't forget to bring a flashlight, as it not lit), and the hills surrounding the hotel are nice to hike. ||To sum it up, heaven on earth - we absolutely enjoyed our stay and will...

The location is beautiful, fairly seluded and it makes you feel like you're really far away from the city! The staff is great, and i'm sure that the very involved manager makes it a point to teach them customer service, because all interactions with him were amazing! He's a nvery nice person and a very diligent boss, which is not so common!||The rooms are always clean and in great shape, and the balcony is a great addition.||The only thing that dissapointed me was the fact that the pool is heated by the sun, so it s almost always pretty cold, because that area isn't extremely hot. When we stop on location we didn't expect much, but we were impressed. First of all they had a big grup, so we were sure that we will not eat there...but the personal was very kind, they prepared a table, they excused themselves and tell us that we need to expect a few minutes, we gave the order and meanwhile we take a tour outside.
