A very nice restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere! 🍽️ The cocktails, however, were not as impressive—definitely room for improvement there. The only real downside was the waiting time for the food, which was over one hour, a bit too long even for a busy evening. What really saved the experience was the amazing staff—they were kind, attentive, and willing to do anything to make sure guests were satisfied. Because of them, this place truly deserves 4 stars instead of 3. We still recommend this restaurant, as the food and service make it worth visiting. Just a tip: call in advance and make a reservation, because it’s almost impossible to find a free table without one!

Good traditional restaurant a little outside of Turda. Prices vary from a few pounds (10lei upwards) to the skies the limit. We went tradition but the pizzas looked very good and a massive range. Watch for the bread trap 80 Bani a piece added to the bill, without being asked for. That being said it was a reasonably priced meal. The Ursus zero is a must for the driver. The only downside for us was that it's basically all out doors (one side ope with the other 3 sides closed) was practically every else was smoking.

Best 4 cheeses pizza, not bad shrimp salad, good michi with fries and choice of wines is ok, however cocktails are not good (very slight connection to original taste), mamaliga with branza almost not edible because of amount of salt in porrige+in cheese by itself, and service is sometimes ok but sometimes horrible (sad point that there is nothing to do and no one from staff care because it’s the only restaurant in Turda-Campia Turzii with such big menu, spacious dinning area and open terrace(smoking is allowed).

This review is being written from my experience here a couple of years ago. I spent about a month here. I honestly would like to go back just for the homemade cherry brandy shot the older gentleman would serve me as a warm up to relax after a hard days work. Do your homework before traveling abroad to avoid things like any ATMs that are not physically in a bank and pay cash everywhere to be safe. It is not a hotel problem it is a country wide problem. The service I received here was hands down awesome! I did run into a couple of snags since I do not speak Romanian. Not a big concern though. Plenty of people spoke good English and would help with translation if I ran into problems. I don't think I have ever tipped as much as I did here. Now that I think about it a tip in America is for a job well done. I hope that was the case in Romania. I didn't find out until later in my Europe trip that it is not always good to tip. That was one thing I always assumed was good everywhere. I only encountered one waitress that was a bit stuck up. It wasn't a big deal for me at all though. She is the only one I wouldn't tip . Everyone else was fantastic I was really impressed with the professionalism and manners. The comradery and family feel this place had was pretty cool. The staff worked as if they were all family. Found out that some of them at least were family . Romanian food is a bit bland with spices. What it lacked in spice was ok since it was fresh and homemade. I would even get a loaf of bread to take to work some days. It was pretty good and simple. One thing that really helped me in my travels to Romania was that learning a couple of words meant a lot to some people. I was not very good at it but while out exploring the area around here I did notice that people tend to do a complete 180 if you make an attempt at being polite with simple phrases like excuse me and thank you. After all you are in there home. My tipping was due to the smiles and hard work they put in every day for headache of my group filling their hotel. Even the maintenance guys were friendly. They didn't speak any English but I am certain they were just giving me a friendly greeting with a nice firm handshake to say hello. The body language said it all. This is one hotel stay I will never forget. If you are traveling through here from out of country, keep an open mind and learn a little bit about the people here. I found them to be fascinating. I was not a fan of the gypsy kids I encountered in town at a store. But the hotel did a great job of keeping that stuff away from you while you were there. Cluj is not far away and this place will feel more like your living in a small town. It's a nice break from the chaos of a big city like Cluj. Hello staff, if you guys and gals read this. I haven't...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service that continued throughout my entire meal.

The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the "supa de fase cu ciolan," a traditional Romanian soup with tender pork knuckle and beans. It was rich, hearty, and bursting with flavor - truly a comfort food at its best.

Next, I tried the "jumeri cu ceapa si mustar," which were crispy and savory fried pork rinds served with caramelized onions and mustard. The combination of flavors was simply divine and the dish was perfectly executed.

Finally, I couldn't resist ordering the "piept de porc cu cartofi aurii" - succulent pork breast with crispy golden potatoes. The pork was juicy and perfectly cooked, while the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Every bite was a treat for the taste buds!

What impressed me most about this restaurant was the attention to detail in every dish. Even the bell peppers had their own distinct and delicious flavor, adding an extra layer of complexity to the already amazing meal.

Overall, I can confidently say that this restaurant deserves a solid 5 out of 5 stars. From the impeccable service to the mouthwatering food, every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try - you won't be...

As much as I wanna rate them 5 stars, I just can't. I love eating here! Food is amazing, nothing to complain about that. Tried a lot of different meals over the years and we loved all of them! Their pizza delivery service is awful. We stayed in Romania for a little over 2 weeks and ate out most of the time. Tried ordering pizza from this place many, many times over the course of these 2 weeks and couldn't get them to deliver once. Most of the times they would not pick up the phone. It did happen that they would pick up but hang up right away, after about one second (kinda rude), or when I was really lucky and they actually talked to me, I was told that they didn't have a driver and to call back after half an hour. Needless to say that I called many times after half an hour and nobody picked up. We needed a place where we can get dinner from for about 2 weeks and no matter how hard we tried, this wasn't it. Food here is delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't go out to eat every single time, so having pizzas delivered would've...
