Hotel Ciobanasu — Hotel in Câmpulung

We stopped here on our way back home to Bucharest. The location is nice, short climb from the city, through a park, making way to a large hotel building, the restaurant has its own entrance to the right. Old school ambience, simple, wood and white covers on the tables, some decorations on the walls, nothing wrong with that. Service was on time, considerate, efficient. We had some soup and bors, couple snitzels with mashed potatoes and cabbage salad. Myself, porc's brain, mixed with scrambled egg and some vegetables with french fries. Its been a long time since I found this dish, it did not dissapoint! Everything was good and fresh. Together with a dessert, a family water and 2 espressos we paid a very fair 127 lei. We will surely comeback, maybe stay at the hotel too, Campulung is a long time unchecked...

We really loved it. It was elegant and cozy and pleasant in the same time. Very clean and warm ( we went in april they kept the heating going). The hotel is nicely situated on one of Campulung's hills. The staff at the reception was polite. The rooms are huge, you could fit a car inside. The bed was enormous, 4 people would easily fit in it.
