We arrived at this location by chance and it was a beautiful experience. The little traditional wooden house is reconditioned and has a well equipped bathroom, AC, stove, traditional decoration like ancient blouses or vases, nice books and the sent of vacations at grandparents when I was a child. There is also a big courtyard where you can play volleyball, football. And in the back of the courtyard there is Bistrița Aurie, a river that comes from the mountains and gives you the feeling that times passes and stays still in the same moment. Daniel, the owner delighted us with a breakfast made by himself with local products, with nice conversation and with the feeling that he is more "Romanian" than some, with a deep love for Romania and for Bucovina land. Read moreThis place was a highlight of our trip to Romania. Daniel the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin was really comfortable and the view of the surrounding was fantastic as there was a misty atmosphere that makes the place even more special.
We had dinner there, cooked by his wife with local ingredients and it was amazing and flavourful. The cabin guestbook is very helpful and suggests activities for many days. We wish we could have stayed there longer !

The backyard with the Bistrita River flowing is stunning and functional: it is big and has a volleyball net and mini-soccer goal posts. The food we had was delicious, made with local and seasonal ingredients. We had a forest mushroom stew to die for prepared by Daniel! We can't wait...
