Spending the last night of our two-week bike trip across Banat here turned out to be the perfect choice, as the place is wonderfully positioned at the edge of a peaceful village. Sleeping in the 100-year-old house was not just comfortable, but also felt, in great part due to the hosts' hospitality, like a return home. To further elaborate on the hosts, their availability to welcome us, despite the last-minute announcement, and the eagerness with which they shared both stories, and local spirits, made this a place we're certain to want to revisit on our next trip through the region. The most beautiful place we stayed in Romania. Absolute romance, very cosy cute cottage with bathroom. Beautiful surroundings and a very well designed garden. I found the accommodation by chance on google maps. I wrote to the phone number given only the day before our arrival and the owner replied very quickly. The owner is an incredibly helpful nice person, he even came to pick us up in the woods at night when we got lost. One of the most intense experiences of my travels ever. Looking for a peaceful camping we stumbled upon La salasul fermecat in the small village of Iabalcea. It´s perfectly located in an orchard at the edge of the village.
