GIA Suites — Hotel in Caracal

You make the reservation to Gia Suites by looking the fotos uploaded in a website. You are excited by the fact that you have found such a good place to stay in the city center. ...so far so good. You arrive outside the building and you lose the ground down by your foot. The entrance of the building terrifies you. BUT at this moment you MUST NOT run. Go upstairs on 3rd floor and you will find the reception. You will find a helpful man willing to help you. Rooms are located on 2nd 3rd floor and are excellent. In 2nd floor there is also a small kitchen. Each floor ia secured with central locking and there is camera surveilance. In each room you will find mini bar wirh good prices. I would have fiven 5 stars if i had not such a bad first impression by the building entrance and stair.|Tip #1 parking place is not private. DeLuxe?! rating SO overated!

GIA sign at the entrance is missing, making location hard to find while carrying trolley/bags ...is it not licensed? No elevator, stairs look awful - 1st floor is just a dark hallway, hotel being at 2nd and 3rd floor. Common kitchen has no decent pan or cutlery, lights are dim and flickering. Fridge out of use and BOTH coffee machines not working. Room fridge has no shelves, except from the bottom one thats broken... no mini bar. Was bit cold, heating was off and the AC didn't seem to respond to heat mode. 2of our towels were torn. Toilet button was jamming. Low watter preassure overall. Even found 2dead cockroaches. 2days we had no electricity from 9 to 5pm and in one of those 2, no water either. All this in DeLuxe Jacuzzi Apartment! ...first...

It was difficult to find. No signs outside showing the way. It was by happenstance I asked a random guy where it was, and he happened to work the desk. Friendly staff though, willing to accommodate and assist with whatever. Rooms are your standard hotel room. Nothing super fancy. But quality of you're looking for a short stay.
