La Casuta din Ciocanesti — Hotel in Ciocănești

The whole experience of staying at La Casuta din Ciocanesti was very dreamlike. We were there in early March and everything was covered in snow. The landscape is breathtaking. The house has everything you could ever need. It is incredibly cosy. If you have the chance to stay here - take it! On top of that, the hosts are just wonderfully kind people. I could have never imagined anyone being so open and friendly to strangers. This goes hand in hand with the atmosphere of the house and makes you feel at home even if you are staying for a moment :) We will be back, I know it!...

This place was absolutely perfect. The tiny house is charming, warm and comfy. It has everything you need neatly arranged. You are surrounded by green hills and sounds of cowbells :) You can bask in the sun, fire up a bbq or a small campfire. The area is peaceful and scenic with not a lot of people. The night sky is amazing since there is little light pollution in the area.

Make sure you visit some local attractions like Tinovul Mare (1h drive from the house), Cascada Cailor (1h drive), Piatra Soimului...

We recommend this cozy cabin whole heartedly! We were traveling through in a rush and sadly only stayed for a night, but waking to the sight of the snow covered fields as even more snow was starting to fall was just magical and dreamlike and we were very sad to leave! The owners are exceptionally kind and helped us greatly with their spontaneity and generosity in a time of considerable stress.
