If you want to stay in the middle of a field ( i.e.nowhere), at the end of a narrow, dusty, unmodernized country road, with tractors ploughing around, very hot in summer, really cold in autumn, and literally freezing in winter ( the worst weather region from Romania), with a rude host stepping on your toes, it might be very well the place you are looking for.||Dirt everywhere outside, with a nice mudded little dog jumping on you, ( plus a big one, cats and mice, living in harmony or not), there is nothing you can do or visit nearby. You could ride, but the horses are not well trained, so it’s really dangerous, and after experiencing this, we strongly recommend against it.||Inside, the owner’s rule is that guests should walk barefoot or wear some slippers from there, but they are not single-use, so you definitely may risk a foot fungal infection, beware!||No breakfast included, with rustic, noisy rooms, without TV, wifi, or coffee/tea maker, and without privacy ( when you change, you are on window display, nowhere to hide), sometimes even without warm water ( usually, when most needed).||Flies and mosquitoes greeted us in summer, in autumn you have to deal with the cold and smoke from the terracotta stove ( potentially very problematic).||Been there twice for riding, having paid in advance, been clearly misled.||Really, can’t figure out why the high prices for a middle ages- ish kind of experience.||Promise you, it isn’t worth it, not to mention the lack of respect from the owner, who behaved terribly ( especially on the second visit, when she even left home closing up, had to wait for her more than three hours in the cold ). Besides, she took our money without fulfilling the services we paid for, we didn’t even get a refund. ||So, if you ever think to risk going there, please, think twice, and don’t pay in advance, no...

SEQUEL After this nightmare, we sent a complaint to the Romanian Ministry of Tourism. A specialized team made an " on site" control. Irregularities were found and the owner was sanctioned. Hopefully, she will learn to treat...
Read moreOur stay at this charming retreat was an absolute delight! The owner, a dedicated horse-riding instructor, runs a beautiful stable with well-cared-for horses, making it a perfect destination for animal lovers and anyone looking to connect with nature. The three friendly dogs and adorable cats added so much warmth and joy to our visit.
The location is idyllic, situated in the middle of a peaceful field with stunning, picturesque views all around. The rooms are cozy and heated by traditional stoves, which made our winter stay both comfortable and memorable. The fireplace in the living area added a special touch, creating a welcoming and intimate atmosphere.
We especially appreciated the hospitality and kindness of the owner, who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. This is the perfect place for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lack of modern distractions actually enhanced the experience, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the tranquility.
We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely return to create more beautiful memories. Thank you for a...
