Domeniul Regilor — Hotel in Cluj Metropolitan Area

When you see the structure, driving from the last curve, you can only say "wow, that's the place!". Effectively, it presents very well, surrounded by nature on the top of the hill near Cluj-Napoca. And you are excited, it partially has the architecture of castles, you know there is a spa, and the reputation of its restaurant is well known among the reviews. But, just the time to park the car, and you start to seeing it. And you see it better when entering the room, while are you swimming in the pool, or once you have the menu in your hands. All you have seen from the distance now appears different; the "beauty" have given way to something strange, a certain "tackiness" that fills the entire structure. Like certain make-ups that once close reveals all the defects they were trying to hide.

However, trying to leave a practical comment about our standard room, it was literally mediocre, with lot of malfunctioning: the toilet didn't flush well, and neither did the refilling of the cistern; the shower has several deficits, the controller was detaching from the wall and shower tray was broken (thus flooding the entire bathroom); light bulbs near the bed were not working; moquette was dirt; tv is fixed to the wall, impossible to see (both in terms of angular position and quality); and so on...

It was the first time I came here, but I won't be back. I stayed two nights, but it was enough.|Although the Spa center is beautiful and clean, the accommodation leaves much to be desired. I encountered a lot of dust in the rooms, most likely not cleaned for some time, the bathrobes were already used by other customers who were accommodated in the same room because in a pocket I found burnt Iqos cigarettes. The bathroom was not cleaned because I found tufts of eyelashes thread by thread, then the underwear... was the piece of resistance, unchanged of course. I found many strands of hair through the underwear, dirty with pens and other dubious things, and in the pension policy it is specified that cleaning is done after 10:00, thus hoping that the underwear will be changed and they will bring clean towels, but it was not the case.|It is disappointing considering that you pay an amount of 380 lei for a premium room and you get something like this in return.|Too bad about that Spa and trout center (I want to specify that the dishes based on trout are very good), because the accommodation leaves much to be desired.|The location is beautiful, but the road to get there is disastrous, full of potholes and stones.||I hope this review helps other potential customers, to know...

Amazing stay! The staff was absolutely lovely. We had 3 premium bedrooms, they were all clean & nicely put together. Very spacious! The water pressure was great. The spa is really fun, however they don’t offer massage services. Still delightful nonetheless! ||The food was great and they offer quite a few options. The fish was fresh! |They also have a play-room with Billiard and table tennis.|You simply cannot get bored here:) we really loved it!
