Băltina Parc — Hotel in Corbeni

Baltina Parc Transfagarasan was truly one of those stays that can transform your soul, it lets you know there are kind people in every corner of this world! My husband and I are from California USA. We are retired and full time travelers (for 6 years now). Every once in a while a stay will REALLY feel like HOME to us (we no longer have a home since losing it to a wildfire in California in December 2017).

Baltina Parc Transfagarasan was easy to find. Right off the main road. Parking is easy. Being greeted as if we were long lost family by the sweetest host was a wonderful feeling. She explained with GOOGLE translator that they had a wedding party the night before and was still in the process of cleaning the communal kitchen and dining area. We said no problem then my husband jokingly asked “do you have any left over cake?”. Yes she did. And next thing we know, we were being served cake - for the three of us! Plus, she poured three glasses of Afinata (Romanian homemade blueberry liqueur) and exclaimed “Noroc!!” (cheers). Such a special moment.

Our little ‘cabin’ was stunningly clean, comfortable and came with amazing views from our own covered porch. I loved seeing the haystacks, orchard and gearing the clucking chickens. The common kitchen had a great espresso machine with all coffee and tea fixings supplied. It was lovely to spend the morning drinking coffee & tea from our porch. WiFi is great. There is absolutely nothing except perfection about this stay! Trust me, I know good stays from bad stays. We spent almost three weeks in Romania and this stay is the most memorable for all the right reasons!

Do not hesitate to stay at Baltina Parc...

A magical place to relax in the middle of majestic natural beauty of the Făgăraș mountains. The owners built cabins worth all the modern necessities including air conditioning (quite welcome during this heat wave); everything is amazingly clean and the garden and orchard are lovingly taken care of. I would go back in...

Am avut o experiență minunată la această locație! Gazdele au fost extrem de primitoare și atente la toate nevoile noastre. Căbănuțele sunt curate, confortabile și bine întreținute, iar priveliștea este absolut superbă. Ne-am simțit extraordinar și ne-am bucurat de fiecare moment petrecut aici. În contrast cu recenzia lăsată de domnul "Vasile Grozavu", doresc să subliniez că observațiile lui nu reflectă realitatea. Este trist să vezi că unii oameni aleg să facă afirmații nefondate și răutăcioase despre acest loc minunat. Să vă fie rușine, domnule, Vasile Grozavu! Sugerez ca toți cei care doresc să ofere recenzii să fie onești și să își bazeze comentariile pe experiențe reale. Recomand cu căldură această locație tuturor celor care caută un loc liniștit și plăcut pentru a-și petrece vacanța. Gazdele merită toată aprecierea pentru eforturile lor de a crea o atmosferă...
