Flandra Glamping — Hotel in Corbeni

One of the best traveling experiences in Romania! The accommodation, the food, the views and location, everything is set up for disconnection form your daily life and 100% immersion in nature. The whole concept is implemented to the smallest details that you can only feel zen as soon as you step foot there. The best part are the owners, the loveliest people ever, so kind and costumer oriented - helped me with everything I needed with the kindest smile on their faces. The rooms are comfortable, quite big for tiny houses (I don't know why it's called glamping, because there are no glam tents), the AC worked great (went during a heat wave), the views are unobstructed, you fell all alone on a hill, hearing only the crickets and a lone cow in the distance. The menu doesn't have a lot of options, but it's top quality high end food. Accommodation is half board, but the restaurant works a la carte too and you can order to your room. The pool is a big plus in summer, they also have a volley court (finest sand ever) and a pump track for bikes. It's a great place for romantic travel, for nature lovers, for people that need silence and disconnection from the hustle and bustle of the city and it's also great for baby/toddler travel. We went with a 2,5 yo and it was great, the whole place is a destination by itself - you don't need to leave for anything. The only thing I missed was a coffee machine in our room (because the restaurant opens at 8 am and our baby wakes at 6...so 2 h without coffee) and a comfortable chair/beach bed on the private terrace. Generally our stay at Flandra Camping was okay, but not as awesome as we had expected from the other reviews and the description.

Positive:

Clean Rooms

Beautfilul location in the nature with a great view from the rooms

Pool with perfect temperature to cool yourself on hot days

Tasty food

Negative:

Annoyed answer from the operator regarding two justified questions we had asked in advance

No fridge or TV in the room, also no chairs to sit outside of the cabin and enjoy the view

Loud, jazzy music from the main house (from 8 am to 10 pm)

No room service (even though the description indicated one), so we had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper every day

Prices for additional water or drinks during the day are high (also no fridge to cool your own drinks you might bring with you)

Alex and the team at Flandra Glamping were absolutely top notch! The property is stunning with picturesque 360° views of the surronding township and mountains. The rooms are very modern, comfortable, and cozy. We enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool and sand volleyball court (just imagine playing sand volleyball surrounded by mountains)! Alex's food was AMAZING! Plating and taste were Michelin quality and our dinner was the best meal we experienced in Romania during our trip!
