Hanul Vatra — Hotel in Costești

We've stayed at Hanul Vatra for a weekend away with friends. Right from the moment you arrive at the location, you get a sense of quality in everything surrounds you.

They took no shortcuts in regards with having everything built and arranged with a great sense of quality for us to get a quiet and comfortable experience.

The rooms are arranged with amazing furniture, nice and comfy beds, clean and spacious bathrooms. I liked the fact that the rooms are well positioned, that you still have the required quiet even when meals are served in common spaces or when guests are throwing a late night party in the main area of the building.

Outside the buildings, there are amazing areas built and arranged in such way that you will have a great experience in the morning sun when you enjoy your coffee on comfortable sun beds, or you get the morning / afternoon walk around the property through trees that are surrounding a very nice river that goes through the property.

Big thanks as well for the excellence of services (great food, employees ready and prepared to assist you with any request). Looking forward to visiting again for getting our dose of energy in the heart of nature. (why not when that small forest of...

Luati un loc, vin cu o alta parere fata de ce s-a scris pana acum despre aceasta locatie si macar mergeti direct unde va intereseaza: facilitatile locației, mancarea, cazarea, personalul, obiective turistice. Facilitatile locatiei: Ok, locatia este deosebita, ceva rar, cu un parau in spatele Hanului si cu mult verde. Ok, parcare pentru masini. Si cam de aici incep lucrurile negative pe care le-am intalnit la aceasta locatie: Mancarea in primul rand ce trage in jos cel mai mult? Mancarea! Execrabila! Dimineata la mic dejun este un mini-bufet-suedez, ai o singura carafa cu un suc de mere Atat pranzul cat si cina trebuie sa le anunti dinainte pentru a avea o estimare la cata cantitate de mancare sa se gateasca. La rating-ul asta si preturile nu sunt deloc mici, mi se pare grav sa nu ai o bucatarie capabila sa livreze un meniu diversificat, suntem in 2024!! Pranzul este 70 de ron/pers , nu am servit doar am vazut un snitel si piure si ciorba Cina este 65 de ron/pers, am servit in doua seri, intr-o seara consumatie ptr o persoana peste prajit cu mamaliga - nimic de reprosat; in cea de a-2-a seara, DEZASTRU! Bineinteles ca ne-am anuntat intentia si am fost anuntati dar am zis sa incercam: copanele de pui si ceafa de porc cu pilaf sau spaghete. Niciun gust la copanele (care aveau si pene, nu pot atasa poza ca nu vrea sa va creez neplacere) si ceafa, ambele mai mult fierte decat gatite cu gust! Pilaful fara gust si fara sare .. Desertul, daca se poate numi asa, negresa, care a fost pusa atat seara cat si dimineata, a doua zi Langa noi, era o degustare ptr nunta sau botez, am poftit si noi la altceva dar ni s-a spus ca nici macar o portie de cartofi nu se poate :) insa cei de la degustare se plangeau ca mancarea nu are gust si nici sare. Concluzia, la asa nivel, nu ai voie sa nu ai gust, mancarea face totul! Si f important ca din pacate prin imprejurimi nu ai unde sa mananci. Cazarea/camera Am rezervat cu cateva saptamani inainte “singura” camera disponibila, fiind la mansarda si la acelasi pret cu cele de mai jos de la etajul 1 si parter. Am primit camera la mansarda, foarte cald vara si singura sursa de racorire a fost doar un ventilator vertical (nu ajuta). Semnalul wifi extrem de prost, suntem in 2024!! Daca nu ne ajuta 4G macar wifi insa , surpriza, foarte prost merge. Nu ai frigider in camera desi este loc suficient. Nu se face curatenie, nu se schimba gunoiul. Inteleg ca este HAN dar se puteau pune plase de tantari fata sa afecteze design-ul exterior si sa se implementeze un sistem de climatizare eficient. Nu poti inchide cu cheia usa de la intrare, poti trage cel mult un “zavor” de la clanta “traditionala” Personalul Nimic de reprosat sau de laudat, am intalnit amabilitate dar am si oferit amabilitate si bun simt. Sper ca nu am omis si sper sa va faceti o parere la ceea ce veti gasi aici! Obiective turistice Va recomand la 40–50 min distanta de mers cu masina: Casa Rasturnata (Bumbesti Pitic) , langa este o locatie nou deschisa Castelul Vrajitoarelor, Padurea colorata. In rest traditionalele Manastiri, Pesteri si Pastravarii sau Varful Roman (necesita o masina cu garda...
