We usually arrange our bookings on our own, but on this particular occasion we were invited to a wedding in Cugir and the b&b booking was managed by our friends.||Me, my wife, my mother-in-law and our 2 girls (aged 4 and 6 weeks) went off to Cugir for the first time in our lives and we were slightly anxious due to the fact that we had the precious little one with us.||We arrived there on Friday evening at 6 Pm as the event was booked for the next day. Upon our arrival there we met up with our friends and after driving for a couple of hundred meters on dirt and gravel we arrived at the b&b's "main entrance".||There was the hostess who went to present our rooms and oops to our surprise both rooms was unprepared to hold guests as they have not been cleaned by the staff there...after that they called some of the personnel and started cleaning up the place as fast as they could...hmmm, they left load of dust under the beds but anyway...||The next day started all wrong when we went to have breakfast. As I was walking along with my daughter down the dirt road, as there isn't a direct way to the restaurant, we reached the restaurant which communicates directly with a petrol station :). We went in and to our surprise the owners were having their coffee and a smoke and debating the coming event that was to take place in their facility ( not the one we were going to attend)...the message I read on their face was something like "I can't believe they came to have breakfast). Nevertheless they put us at an improvised table after initially wanting to set the table outside (12-13 degrees C). The food itself was fine and that is pretty much all that was acceptable.||The very next day when we wanted to have an early breakfast at 8 am, oops again. The restaurant was closed as they had the wedding the previous night and the hostess again showed up with a very tired face. I asked her if we could trouble her for some breakfast and to my astonishment she said "NO".||So, you probably got the idea...please book somewhere else.||I didn't rate it terrible because the rooms were pretty clean but the services and staff...
Read moreThe owner was really nice and helpful. The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit. The room was clean and tidy. The room has a fridge and places for storage.
The windows don't have mosquito nets so basically we were bitten by mosquitos all night. The bathroom doesn't have any window or air extractor. Only one small and big towel is offered for two people. The parking is available for two cars at most. Due to the choice of color used for the walls, the room is really dark and the light bulbs used don't do much either. No Wi-Fi (at least when I searched nothing was showing up).
Overall, the place is alright for a one-night stay but not longer, considering the price and the...
