Restaurant Splendid — Hotel in Dorohoi

Pleasant experience. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights as we participated at a wedding there. The hotel is clean and nice. I only rated 4 stars due to the fact that there is no mirror in the room (only in the bathroom) and due to the fact that you can hear in the room music coming from the restaurant below. In both nights the room floor was vibrating as the music coming from the restaurant below was very loud. It is possible that the noise is not present in all the rooms, maybe only in the ones above the event room. As for the food from the restaurant it...

The place looks really great, the location is gorgeous with a nice patio for smokers and great inside parking, and a lovely garden. Since I was there only for dining I can't say anything about the rooms. I can say however that the food wasn't so spectacular, leaving a lot to be desired. From 18 people on the table, at least 12 of us had something not so nice to say about the food served. The grilled pork for example was overcooked and dry, the veal on the stone was overcooked and chewy. The waiters were very nice and helpful, the restrooms...

The food is ok, not great not terrible. The service is almost a disaster, takes forever even for a simple coffee. The location is ok-ish, pretty close to the city center, although is beside a noisy street. The rooms on the other hand, are a joke. The floor is squeaky, the mattress is horrible, the AC was not working, if you open the window all the bugs and mosquitoes are coming in to take a nap with you, the toilet has a sewage stinch.
