Royal Garden — Hotel in Drăguș

Location: 2 km from the Brancoveanu Monastery, a bit shielded from the main road, surrounded with vegetation - with a great view of the stars on a clear night.||Venue: clean and confortable, working wi-fi, lots of kids stuff in the garden (swings, slides and trampolines), several wooden pavilions under the trees, grill & bbq, spacious parking.||The low rating means:||- There is no breakfast. While there are plenty of tables to eat outdoors, the venue offers no food service; the alternative is (at least) 2km away, close to the monastery.||- Considering the issue above, the access to the kitchen was very restrictive; I even gave up preparing a cup of tea as it was a very big deal, apparently.||- I didn't feel like a guest, but more like a simply paying customer. The staff (aka owners) really need to improve their people skills - especially that now, with all the restrictions enforced by the coronavirus, service is suffering everywhere and the devil is in the details more than ever.||I would keep Royal Garden as an option of...

It's a very nice place to spend a vacation. I spent there 5 days with my friends and we had a wonderful time.||The place is isolated from the rest of the resort and it's very quiet. The landscape is very beautiful, very neat and has a great view to the Fagaras mountains.||It's also close to the mountain roads of Fagaras, for those interested: about 1,5 hours to Cabana Valea Sambetei and 3 more hours to Fereastra Mare a Sambetei (the crest of the mountains).||Eventhogh the place has a lot of rooms, there are a lot places to stay during the day, so you will not disturb or be disturbed by other tourists.||The rooms are very large and clean and the mattresses and sheets are very high quality.||The owners are very nice and they were very careful that we have a great time. We had a small problem with the sink and shower drainage and they fixed it right away.||I definitely recommend this location and I will come back...

Its a clean place, with a big yard, playground for kids. It provides a kitchen, fully equipped. The room are ok, with bathroom, toiletries and TV. Some have balconies. You can find parking space next to the house. You can stay outside, on benches and under umbrellas. Good WiFi.

No extra towel in the bathroom for the floor. When you get out of the shower there is a big possibility to slip and fall. The TV in room 7 did not work, all channels were coded, even if the owner said its not possible, but did not come to check. No AC, in summer, especially on the top floor, it gets hot. Its a bit far from Statiunea Sambata, about 30 min walk and there are no stores or restaurant nearby....
