Hotel Flora — Hotel in Drobeta-Turnu Severin

This hotel was the biggest surprise of our entire trip. It seems that when you expect less you get the maximum:). It is located not far from the city center, the hotel having a big yard, away from the road, ensuring a quite location. We got an apartment which was huge, with a comfortable bed and bright room, a tree nearby with lot of birds singing wonderful in the morning. The bath was incredibly clean and looking like furnished recently, with nice decorations. We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner we had here, at a very good price. The service was also very good and I do recommend this location for anyone travelling to Drobeta Turnu-Severin. Hotel Flora, in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Romania was a surprise. I needed a place to rest for the night, and several other hotels had closed their customer service desks. I thought I would have to drive on, but came upon the Hotel Flora.||||The service desk was open, the price was more than reasonable, and the night attendant was very polite. The hotel is new. I've staying in every type of establishment there is, from the no-tell motel to the five-star hotel's in big cities. We came across this hotel late and night and stayed there because there was good parking overlooked by the front desk. The hotel itself was very clean, with a lot investment to it's interior decor. The staff (some of whom were english speaking were very welcoming and attentive). The breakfast was neither continental nor full english but well presented and substantial ( a choice of eggs, with cold ham salad and a variety of breads.
