Pensiunea Restaurant Vándor — Hotel in Eremitu

This is an excellent place to spend a relaxing night if you’re walking the Via Transilvanica. The setting is lovely, with two options for outside space: a large courtyard set with tables and awnings, and a smaller setting with a small creek running past. Both are comfortable, but we settled next to the stream to enjoy the sound of the water in the background.

The room we had wasn’t fancy, hut the bed was comfortable and there was a drying rack on the foyer outside that allowed us to catch up on some hand laundry.

Of particular note is the food in the restaurant - it’s very good and the portions are generous. As many others have noted the Poppy Seed Strudel is out of this world delicious.

The location is great, a little river is flowing right next to the outdoor restaurant tables and the sound of the river creates a chill atmosphere. The food is good and they have free breakfast (you can order whatever your want from the breakfast section in the menu). The rooms have all you need and are clean but are not very spacey or aesthetic. Nonetheless, with such a great outdoor space, i think you won't stay that much inside :)

Great intimate atmosphere (they have a small river going through their yard), clean, quiet and rustic. The food is very good (a warning here: some foods are unexpectedly hot, so ask if you don't like spicy food). Highly...
