Bulevard Events Center — Hotel in Făgăraș

Traveling in Romania for the first time for business. I ended up in Fagaras, a small town in Brașov County, Transylvania and spent 4 nights at the Bulevard Hotel on the main traffic circle of the town. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a nice size and the shower was accommodating to a guy of my size (6'1'' / 240lbs). A lot of the rooms had a nice balcony, mine did not, but window had a very nice view of the Fagaras Fortress and Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (2 top tourist spots in town). The hotel was very convenient to shopping and there were more than enough restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The hotel did have a restaurant as well, food was very good, but service is slower than usual for Romania. The room rate included a hot and cold breakfast buffet that was excellent and a great way to start the day. The staff was helpful and nice. Would highly recommend if in need of a place to stay and relax when traveling...

On Easter Day we were trying to get breakfast in Fagaras at the hotel , and when that was not possible , I asked for only a coffee. That was not possible either . |I was telling the receptionist that I m walking around in Fagaras with my son , in the rain , but we can't find a place to eat breakfast . Could I please at least buy a coffee from them. ||A blank NO. ||At some places there is a huge need for thinking on how to greet travelers . ||Was it really such a big hassle to let me buy a coffee from them ? ||Imagine the joy when the receptionist at Casa Diana offered me one ! ||And : luckily there is Casa Terra in Fagaras with a love for the area, food and guests coming ! We will wait patiently for...

We had to find accommodation in Fagaras for a sport competition and the first, close to our location and also next to the Citadel of Fagaras was Hotel Bulevard. The first room they presented was to small, none of our request respected (non smoking and balcony), not impressed by the quality allocated in the room - considering they are 4*; but fr 20% more, we received an apartment that filled our request totally.||Good food, decent prices at the restaurant, but the staff could be more attentive with...
