Complexul Turistic Fântânița Crăiesei — Hotel in Făgăraș

We stoped for lunch here. The pension and restaurant its at the outskirts of Fagaras. Bad things begin with even from the acces road. Full of potholes, you always need to zig-zag between them. The location is amazing, with lakes and lilys but this is the only good thing. The restaurant outside looks nice but it's not maintained and clean. Dirty umbrellas, dirty tables. I had bird guano in front of me (picture). Service is really slow. Only 2 servers were at that time. Half an hour for soups ..another 20 min for 2nd course. Chipped dishes. Soup was cold and the fries were sweet and aromatic, tasted like doughnuts ... probably they used the same oil to fry. Shame..big shame. Nice place and location .. but...

It is a very beautiful place but it's not well maintained. I stayed in a 2 room appartment and the place was not very clean. It was full of dead and alive spiders, i had ants in the bathroom too. Under the couch there was a huge spider web. Under the main bed they did not vacuum, there was pretty dusty. On the wall there was even a big adult spider with many baby spiders. You can see them all in the pictures i attached. The building i stayed in was under construction. Outside they have alleys without lights so it can be pretty awful in the dark. The food at the restaurant is good. Too bad they do not take care of this place, it would be a real treasure, but the owner seems not to...
