Boutique Hotel Le Baron — Hotel in Gănești

We arrived here after trying unsuccesfully to book a room in another hotel, 120 km away. We just needed an weekend escape, to visit some lavender fields in the area. The hotel is actually a quite big domain, with an old local lord residence as the center, large green pastures with chestnuts and other trees, large terraces with plenty place for "social distancing". Room no.3 was very nice, with a view over the valley. We had twice the dinner: good food and service, interesting local red wine. During the first day, there was a birthday party with adults and a group of 10-12 years. They all seemed to enjoy the large spaces and we were not disturbed by their presence. We had a wonderful time at Le Baron. It's the perfect getaway, with a gorgeous view of the hills, beautiful accommodation which combines the rustic style of the place with exquisitely refurbished antique furniture. The property is very nice with a wonderful setting and very large garden. The rooms are spacious and beautifully renovated, clean and have all amenities. You can enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. The food is fantastic and has the local touch of the Romanian cuisine. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, eager to help and works hard to make you happy.
