IQ Hotel is CLOSED — Hotel in Giroc

It's our second stay at this motel and it's even worse this time. The check in its taking very long time, once you found the receptionist (owner?) smoking somewhere in a back room of the ground floor. We got the same room as the first time, but this time with a strong scent of tobacco inside. Someone smoked heavily in this non smoking room. The stand up shower is still clogged just as the first time. Even if we booked a double room, we only got a single person duvet 1/1.8m. Everything inside the motel and the rooms is very basic, seems improvised, has low quality and bad functionality - typical "modern" romanian architecture made with cheap costs in mind, to speculate and not to serve. I guess it's only good for "couples" who need to get a room and one bed and four...

Why NOT Hotel IQ?

Hotel IQ, in the area of Timisoara is: i.) Too far from the city’s center; Timisoara. It cost approximately 22 RON by cab/taxi. ii.) Too expensive for what you get…which is not much. iii.) Some of the laundry is sooo badly stained that the hotel must dispose. Comforter/Duve is stained and dirty. iv.) Poor quality towels. Dingy and old. v.) ZERO access to Public Transportation! vi.) 7 LEI/RON for canned Fanta. HORRIFIC! vii.) Shower is clogged in Room 108 viii.) 5 – 10€ for extra towel ix.) Carpet dirty and heavily stained
