We booked a triple room here (3 separate beds) for one night, on our way back from Greece. We arrived there in the afternoon. The first thing that hits you (after the initial shock of how the hotel looks on the outside) is the smell in the lobby. It's a mixture of old, stale, moldy and never-been-renovated-since-it-opened. As many other people have described it, it's some sort of travel back in time, like 35-40 years ago.||||However, the room was decent, and pretty clean. The sheets were clean and so were the towels. Can't complain about the bathroom either, although the toilet was not fixed properly on the floor and water was coming out from under the bath tub, probably due to a faulty drain pipe.||||There's a small fridge in the room, which helps if you have food or water that you want to keep cold. There was no mosquito net, so we had to keep the window closed. We actually organized a mosquito hunt (took down 7 or 8 insects) so that we could sleep properly. Read moreWe stayed here for one night whilst on a cycling trip. The first disappointment was that the hotel had when we visited, was that there is no Bar, or Restaurant. ||We were given a first floor room, but were surprised to find that there was no lift. Strange that the bedrooms had neither shutters, or curtains. Simply nets. No late lie ins at this hotel.||There were a number of maintenance issues with the bedrooms and bathroom. Added to this we found a number of mosquitos in all of our rooms. ||Breakfast was poor but the Greek style coffee was excellent.||One word sums my advice about this hotel and that...
Read moreWe stayed in this hotel on the road trip crossing the borders to Bulgaria. We had no previous booking and arrived in the city around 11pm so looked up "online" very quickly a hotel nearby and at a reasonable price. We ended up paying 120 Ron per room for each of two rooms. (Over priced)||It is pretty basic, old and needs renovation. Bathrooms are worst and needs to look better. To be fair, we had clean sheets and towels and could after all take a shower.||We only crashed in there till early morning so was ok even though not fun. If you will stay in this hotel, I recommend that you check the rooms before accepting it as they have different rooms and would suit you differently. Also bargain for the best price if you have not...
