Pensiunea Agroturistica Piscul Soarelui — Hotel in Godeni

What you see on the internet is definitely what you DON'T get. The only good thing was the food cause it is always fresh though you wait a lot to get it. They do not have many clients so they have to take the meat/fish out of the freezer and prepare it for you. The room is big but not very clean. The bathroom was really, really dirty. We even had a dead fly in the bathroom and the towels were stained. There is absolutely nothing you can do in the area. The pool table they say they have is actually in a bar that the owner has on the same street. There is no tennis table anywhere. The garden is just an abandoned field with some unused car tires. I am sorry I didn't take some pictures. But please, just go anywhere else. I don't now how they got 9.1 on booking cause I would rate it a 6. I booked this Pensiunea for one night stay to have a rest during our trip to Bulgaria. As in Bucarest were very big traffics we arrived here only after 10 p.m. We were very tired and hungry. The personal was very polite,they prepared for us even a dinner( it was like 11 p.m.). The room is very clear,clean,there are mini cosmetics too here. The balcony and the view are great. We arrived just for one night, but after only a few minutes we wanted to stay for a month.This is a small family business and you get to feel the care they put into it.The couple that runs the place is very friendly and helpful.They were very sociable,nice,attentive,showed much concern for our needs.We had delicious traditional Romanian dishes with local brandy.The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, nicely furnished and very clean.
