We had a wonderful stay at Pensiunea La Vâltoare and would gladly return! The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The traditional Romanian architecture combined with modern comfort creates a cozy, authentic atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality of the hosts – they made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived.

Our stay at Pensiunea La Vâltoare was absolutely wonderful. Even though it’s officially rated with 5 garofițe, in our opinion, it deserves a solid 5-star rating in every way.||We traveled as a family of four and were blown away by the accommodation. Our apartment was magnificent—spacious, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and with all the comfort you could wish for. The attention to detail really made us feel pampered. The quality of the rooms honestly stood out even more than the food—and that says a lot!||The location is peaceful and perfect, close to Sibiu and Ocna Sibiului, making it easy to explore the region while enjoying a relaxing atmosphere.||The food was also excellent—breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the meals at the restaurant met the same high standards. We had a very nice time there overall. The room with the balcony was great, the bed comfy. The A/C was so loud that we had to turn it off so the night was not that great because of the heat. The swimming pool was great, clean with good temperature. The restaurant is way too expensive for what we get. I got a Rib eye, asked for it rare and got some weird overcooked ground meat lookalike that wasn't good at all. Our waiter was awesome though. The breakfast is a complete joke, there is almost nothing. The manager (I think) was weird because he was asking if we need something and then was saying "sure, my colleague will take care of it" and then was doing nothing himself. Like come on, don't ask if we need something if you're not willing to do it yourself, this was embarrassing...
