Krystal Boutique Mansion — Hotel in Hunedoara

If you're on a road trip and looking for a place to park your car, van or bike around Hunedoara, this hotel could be a decent choice.||The parking lot is located inside the property and large enough to fit some dozens of vehicles. ||There's a tiny pool located in the hotel's backyard if you want to cool down a bit in a hot summer day. ||The breakfast is very poor, yet the coffee is decent. ||There's a restaurant by the pool if you don't want to leave the hotel for dinner, but I didn't test it, since the fried eggs that I have ordered for breakfast were soaked in oil. I decided not to try a restaurant that is not able to cook a decent pair of fried eggs. ||The hotel is located about 5 minute drive from Hunedoara and 10 minute drive from Corvin Castle. The location is extremely nice and comfortable, while the staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. Very big rooms and bathrooms, huge beds, good pillows, spotlessly clean. Unfortunately some guests have smoked in the rooms without balcony and you can smell it even if you are a smoker, but this is România unfortunately... The food in the restaurant is freshly cooked and cooked well, you have everything you might think of at breakfast and our waiter was the most delicious and warm woman we have met recently. Behind the location, they have an outdoor swimming pool and a lot of green, so I think in summer is even nicer. Good job, guys 🤗 and thank you for making us...

We really enjoyed our three nights here while visiting Corvin's Castle and the Hunedoara area. It's a modern, clean, hotel with very welcoming staff. The pool area was excellent, and the food at the restaurant was of a high standard.

The only suggestion for improvement would be to consider the restaurant's ambience in the evening. Having the sound system tuned to the local pop radio station during the daytime was fine, but we felt it didn't create the right atmosphere for evening meals.

Overall, this place was great value for money, and I'd be very surprised if there was a better option for visitors...
