Hotel River**** — Hotel in Luduș

The hotel is very nice and looks brand new. The rooms are not big (although we stayed in the junior suite) but had everything that we needed. Staff was friendly. Could not try the indoor pool as it was locked (maybe because we visited in summer) and didn’t use any of the spa facilities as our stay was short and we were with two young kids. The outdoor pool area is nice with modern sun beds and a little kiddie pool next to a playground which was in good condition. Breakfast was good and the outdoor restaurant by the pool had delicious food and drinks. The pool can be accessed by anyone with a day ticket I think. But it wasn’t too crowded. The location is half way between Turda and Targu Mures (30 min away) so we visited the salt mine in Turda and visited Targu Mures as well. Overall I would recommend the hotel. They speak Romanian, Hungarian and English as well. As a suggestion, they could keep a few pool items to purchase at the reception, like kiddie...

I’ve travel to many countries and I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and I will say hotel river is one of the very best. The rooms are very nice and cozy. This place was a pleasant surprise for us. The beds are extremely comfortable, everything is clean, looks aesthetically pleasing, the staff is really friendly and the food is tasty; there is a correct, affordable price set for all modern conditions, which are according to nowadays’ standards.
