Life Harbour Marina — Hotel in Mangalia

We tried to rent a sailing boat with skipper and got an appointment on Monday. On Monday we drove 1,5 h with 5 people to the habour. No skipper available after waiting for 1,5 hours. So we got a new date for Wendsday. We called in the morning. Everything okay. Skipper was there. But after driving out with motor, we got the info, to much wind for this boat to sail so we had to turn around. After arriving we had to pay full price. Result: 2days wasted, lots of money spend and not one minute sailing. Unbelievable but true - this place will us never see again - totally incompetent...

The idea of "every room with view" is really nice. But big big disadvantage is NO WATER. The personal excuse was "here is a village and the people use a lot the water at this hour". At 10 am I was in the shower and the water stopped for almost half an hour. And this problem is every day no matter what time is it. In the room is cold so take some clothes with you. Also the shower is moldy and one towel was dirty. Outside of this was nice. PS: because of Covid 19, the jacuzzi not working and also the jet ski or...

The hotel and restaurant look nice. We did not stay at the hotel but had lunch before leaving with the boat. The restaurant is very poor in terms of offer and service. They did not have most of the things in the menu (no fish from the black sea available or mussles). So i ordered chiken which was not made on the spot but just warmed up, so most of it was very dry and could not be eaten. It is a pitty considering the...
