Han Greweln — Hotel in Mediaș

It is a hit or miss type of restaurant. I have ordered over 20 times there and the only food that had a constant taste is the Ceasars salad. Out of 6 tries the BBQ ribs only once came out tasty. Hamburger the same. Soups do not even bother. Worst of all was the fish. I payed 37 lei for battered Păstrăv(trout) and all I was served was the cereal batter. There was literally a sliver of fish, hard as a rock, and the rest cereal. That went on for 3 tries and I gave up. When eating there the food seemed fresh, when ordering home the food was hit or miss. Today I ordered ribs and all I got was some frozen meat with the sauce still hard...

We had an event of 50 people family and friends from 7 countries,actually the 2nd day the wedding. I've stayed at Hanul Grewelm twice - first time around 8 years ago and most recently in a cycling group. Like the location just north of Medias (could walk to the centre) - more convenient to stay outside the centre with bikes.||Like the traditional decor and charming furniture in the rooms.||Excellent value.||Well maintained.
