Vila Flora — Hotel in Mediaș

We just managed 3 nights The staff were wonderful and this is the draw card, pity the management is so poor, rooms are very clean and the Restaurant good, it all finishes there, only some rooms are air conditioned, the hotel fronts a main road and has a weekend disco joint as a next door neighbor, we moved rooms after the first night, and out of the 4 rooms each had items that did not work, our rooms ranged from large to small, the mattresses are encased in a wooden box and at the slightest hint of movement from the occupant complain very loudly even a deep breath does not go unregistered. Breakfast, first morning with a noisy football team present, hot food, rest of our stay only cold buffet. free Wifi and parking If the owners were as interested in operating as good an establishment as the staff are in trying to please the patrons this would hotel would have a lot going for it. Auf Einladung zu einer Taufe wurden wir in der Villa Flora untergebracht. Eine Katastrophe. Direkt an der Hauptdurchgangsstrasse für Lastwagen gelegen, die Tag und Nacht hier vorbei rauschen, hatten wir das "Hochzeitszimmer" Nr. 1 im schweinchenrosa Stil. Platz ist reichlich und sogar ein kleiner "Raucherbalkon" gehört dazu. Leider sind die Betten nichts für Menschen mit Rückenproblemen, gibt es keinen Lattenrost sondern nur ein Sperrholzbrett unter der Matratze. Schlafen ähnelt einem Campingurlaub ohne Luftmatratze! Furchtbar. |Zimmerservice und-reinigung nur montags bis freitags; Wochenende gehört offensichtlich der Familie. Das gebuchte Frühstück mit div. Wurst und Käsesorten sowie Yoghurt und Müsli hat für Spätkommer keine Eier und keinen Kaffee mehr; Teewasser auch nur noch lauwarm. Also alles in allem ziemlich langweilig, weil abwechslungsarm und jeden Tag gleich. Und dann eine Bedienung, die mit nackten Händen Wurst nachlegt. Hoffentlich waren die gewaschen. |Da der Hausparkplatz meist belegt ist, mussten wir an der Straße parken. Unschön! Auch das im Nachbarhaus befindliche Schwimmbad und der Spa-bereich sind nicht frei benutzbar, sondern wenigen Kurgästen vorbehalten. Hotelgäste müssen sich mit zwei Stunden am Tag gegen Gebühren zufrieden geben.|Nun, das Duschwasser ist heiss und Spiegeleier gibt es auch, aber nur auf Bestellung.|Wir möchten nicht im Sommer hier sein, wenn es 40° heißt ist und man die Fenster nachts auflassen muss. One of the nicest calmest vila ! ,with all facilitis you need i could say is alredy a 4 and more star due to my experiance here and the personals ,they just so amazing honest and friendly with on excelent service.The food i been eating here really nice and so tasty and a special gentelman call Sir. Alex give all his profesional food and beverage experience in on on forgetable way,his just the top of the top! Higly recomend Vila Flora and not at last will come back here defenetly!...
