Perryland Urban Farm — Hotel in Mihail Kogălniceanu

The place has a lot of potential, but in the same time a lot of things to be improved.|Good:|A please where you can relax and enjoy the nature with many facilities: restaurant, bar, pool, fishing pontoon, in the present moment 5 A Frame houses ( 2 double beds available per house), beach in progress, boats for rent in progress, appropriate for family with kids but also for 2-3 quiet days. |Some animals in the surroundings.|The investment is big and with a lot of good taste.|The personnel is very friendly and helpful.|Prices ok.|To be improved or bad:|Too much food at lunch and dinner, with limited variety of the food that is offered and is seems like the quality of the food is way below the level of the investment that was made. It’s strange that a cook is capable to make at a vey nice cauldron only some fries and at the barbeque only some very basic food with no spices or some soaked meat. Very basic and don’t expect farm/eco food, only Metro/Selgros source. Repetitive plates, chicken all day especially if you don’t eat pork.|I don’t see the connection between Evian and chiken brest with polenta.|Pool must be finished, liner is missing and already started to degrade the interior cement, big depth, be careful with the kids, also no showers at the pool.|Accomodation - missing big towels, (only face and foot available), no garbage can in the room, no small table on the terrace, no cooler/freezer in the room, no glasses. The cleaning can be improved: dusty rooms already and a lot of spots in the bathroom maybe also for the unlucky choice of black floor tiles and sink faucet.||All the bad can be repaired or improved if there is a will.||In the end a nice experience with a lot to be improved and a lot of potential to became an attraction in the zone.||Time and the management of the location will decide what will be the future...

We did not have the chance to dine here. We asked for a reservation. They gave us a price and said that they are 99% sure that we can have a dinner there (for an event of ~25 people). The next day they called and said that the price is higher actually and the location is not where you have the nice view but somewhere in front. We agreed on it but asked for a receipt or something that would confirm that we made the reservation (you can't afford to go there with 25 people and find out that there is no reservation). They said that they have a lot of work but will come back in 1-2 days. We tried to contact them for a couple of time and the story was the same: they were full and had no time to give us a bill. We only heard from them 2 days before the event (we already found some other place). They say all the time that they didn't have the time to take care of it and I think that's a wrong way to take care of a restaurant...

I'm giving 2 stars because the location is really nice and it looks really clean (food also looks good, I don't know about taste), but if you make plans with them, make sure you have a backup.

Per total, recomand o escapada de cateva zile la Perryland Urban Farm. Casutele sunt frumos amenajate, ferma este un loc minunat pentru relaxare. Mancarea este gustoasa, iar portiile generoase. Personalul a fost de asemenea amabil. As puncta urmatoarele lucruri de imbunatatit, cel putin pe perioada sederii noastre la ferma (final de mai): piscina nu era amenajata (zona ar fi trebuit curatata, spalata. Sezlongurile la fel). Nu am fost informati in momentul rezervarii ca nu vom avea acces la piscina. Nu cred ca este mentionat acest lucru pe site (data de deschidere a piscinei); plaja cu vedere la lac din spatele casutelor nu era amenaja si deschisa oaspetilor. Acealasi lucru, nu am fost informati despre acest lucru, nu am avut acces la aceasta facilitate pe perioada sederii; am avut panze de paianjeni la dus, fereastra de la dus, usa dinspre terasa. Terasa si masuta de pe terasa ar fi trebuit spalate (gainat, praf, panze de paianjeni). Inteleg ca suntem in natura (de aceea am venit), dar totusi...; -apa se plateste la bar. Eu as fi oferit o sticla de apa la fiecare masa. Sau ar fi putut exista un dozator de apa. Extra de plata, bineinteles; -micul dejun ar putea sa includa si fructe, iaurt; -cafea se serveste la micul dejun. Extra cafea se comanda si plateste la bar, dar la fel, as fi oferit o cafea la fiecare masa; -locul de joaca ar fi putut fi si el amenajat de primit oaspetii. S-a facut acest lucru in ultima noastra zi la ferma.
