Stayed here 4 nights and conclusions: Rooms are large and you have plenty of space The bed is noisy and the mattress will not give you a relaxing sleep, so maybe they can invest more, and upgrade it Balcony had two chairs and a table and I can say I used them most of time since the view over Bucegi mountains were exciting, though they need to maintain the stones glued in the balcony to avoid any accidents. Bathroom was ok as size, and shower cabin needs some maintenance since water was around it after you use it. Also the door needs maintenance since was not able to be closed very well. The water was in some of the days dirty and don't know if you can use it for drinking, even in the days when appear to be clean, so you need to pay attention when you use it for washing your teeth. Stuff/owners/waiters were friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good, and each morning were at least two or three things different The place were you can eat offers a great view over the same Bucegi mountains so is a pleasure to eat outside. I didn't had any lunch, since, I either enjoyed the village itself and the one next to it (Magura), or had a long sleep. In exchange I had dinner, and food was ok, tasty, even if the menu is not so various. The prices are let's say ok for the food and drinks. They have playground area for kids, so makes it a great place for people with kids, which means at some point you need to accept the noise coming from them(not all of them are noise, depends on the parents :) ) Parking area is ok, in front of the building and near the main road. Overall is a place where I will come back with pleasure and recommend it to friends. I wait to see this...
Read moreThe location is undoubtedly beautiful as it faces Bucegi and the mountains are stunning. The rooms are basic and with old fashioned furniture but clean. The shower was a disappointment: it was clogged with hair, it had mold and yellow stains and it leaked. When we arrived loud music was playing into the yard, for us it was a disappointment as we appreciate more the quiet and the view rather than loud music. Unfortunately, when the evening came there were some guests who were also listening to loud music on their mobile speaker. I would suggest to the owners not to allow guests to play loud music if they are not alone in the hotel, especially not in the evening. Another suggestion I have is regarding the crib: buy an extra thicker mattress, it is very cheap and it will for sure be appreciated. We liked both the attitude of the owners and of the lady from the restaurant, very thoughtful. The food was good and the prices fair. They have an exterior playground, a bit outdated, and an interior one...
Read moreI ate two days in a row at this location. The third time was no luck. Everything goes like a negotiation with the employees, as if they feel like serving you, as if they don't, depending on how important the phone call is that they are on at that moment. Probably directly influenced by the remuneration. In the morning around 9 am we were refused breakfast, on the grounds that they are very busy and that they don't "mess around" with things like that anymore. If you are unlucky enough to pass through the area hungry, you have to think twice if it is worth crossing their threshold. In the end, it was a negative experience, but it is imperative that we notice these slippages, otherwise our tourism will constantly suffer just from...
