Nice location with beautiful mountain surroundings, but if you are a couple travelling with a child you should know that this is not a child friendly facility. Me, my husband and our 2 year old son were supposed to spend New Year’s Eve there. We had booked and paid in advance for the full 4 days we were to spend there, but on the evening of our arrival we were informed that our son isn’t welcome. The owner’s wife spoke more than rudely saying that their place isn’t suitable for a child that laughs out loud, plays or shows any kind of discontent, and if our child does that, he MUST be handled. As a family, we strongly believe in empathy, kindness and a lot of explaining as a child is concerned, but that woman seemed to suggest totally different methods. I considered completely out of line the way the owner’s wife spoke, as it is not the way that someone working in tourism should speak to one’s clients. Our friends’ six year old daughter literally burst into tears not understanding what we had done wrong, and especially what she and our son had done wrong as they were only playing and having fun. |It saddens me that a location that seemed to show potential turned out to be a huge...
Read moreThe guy at the reception was rude and unpolite: we asked for early check in, they accepted and sent an email confirming but when we arrived the room wasn't ready and the receptionist was really rude. WiFi only works at the reception and partially in the restaurant. Bathroom was too small and the shower was old (see pic). Tv was small and old (see pic). No air conditioning. On Sunday (don't know about other days) breakfast is from 9am which is great if you want to sleep but if you're a morning person you can't eat until 9am The entire food at restaurant is overpriced tbh but at least is good This is not a resort at all even if they pretend it is and the price is only justified by the location but aside from that it's an average accomodation and for this price (in Romania) I expect way more than juat a good location. They surely take advantage of the location and the fact there's nothing else acceptable...
Read moreOverall a great stay! Conveniently located in Pestera village, after some twists and turns of the recently paved road you’ll arrive at Nobilis. Here you’ll find a well built accommodation(not that shabby style you’ll find in other places), someone surely invested in quality here. Rooms are large and nice, although some small signs of wear and tear may be visible here and there. Clean bathrooms and linen. Great views of the entire valley. Staff are very friendly and kind, attentive to details and communicative. Thumbs up for their attitude! Breakfast is good, very tasty cheese types, I suspect they are locally sourced. Also the lunch order was good (steak with tartar and the most refreshing tiramisu I had lately). Overall, a very nice stay in a wonderful setting with...
