We visited Poiana Soarelui (The Sun's Glade) for a weekend escape with family.

As expected in such an amazing location (surrounded by Bucegi Mountain and Moeciu Hills), they've built and arranged the location with a great focus on quality.

The rooms are very comfortable and everything looked and felt exactly as it needs to be for us to have a great and relaxing experience.

The location have a big garden and playground (including a football / tennis court) and inside the building there's a nice relaxation room, where you find pool and ping pong table, various board games for you to chill and enjoy the company of your friends in a comfy environment.

If you ever visit the area, you will also be amazed by the surrounding nature, as you can walk right in the heart of the mountains on tracks that are 10-15 minutes away.

We went here during winter, and we were welcomed by a story like snow in evenings with warm bright sun in mornings when you enjoy your coffee on a very nice terrace after a fabulous breakfast.

Although this was one of the last places we called to see if there were any available rooms, it turned out to be a winner. Beautiful views of Bucegi mountains and Moeciu hills, large garden, playground, tennis/football court, billiards, ping-pong, society games. Clean rooms, with view from the balcont, amneties, hair dryer. Multiple breakfast choices, some local made and they even prepared something for us 1 hour and a half earlier as they learned we wanted to go trekking very early. Dinner choices somewhat limited, but you can say what you would want in the morning and they try to satisfy you. Managable distance to Bucegi National Park and the tracks there,...
