Ivașcu Hotel — Hotel in Moisei

The hotels was really ok. I enjoyed the say but somewhat the experience was a bit funky because one day at the restaurant, we wanted to enjoy our lunch somewhere more quiet in the area where they had the restaurant but, there was a waitress where i noticed she made a bad gesture and rolled her eyes while telling us shooting across the room to choose another table because that one was for 20 people. We were ok with that and we sit at a table for 6 and start ordering. all good until the main course arrived. I ordered beef steak with parsnip purée and some vegetables. Mind you, i was ordering this dish for the second time because it was really delicious the first time i had it. The dish came and guess what? while i was tasting it i noticed the parsnip purée was replaced with normal potato piuree. After some time, the waitress come and we let her know that this is not the dish I order and told her what was wrong with it and the tells us that “oh, i forgot to mention that we ran out of parsnip and replaced it with potatoes! I said ok to that too. We also orders some extra sweet potatoe piuree for the baby which never arrived at the table but they charged it. This is not big deal but the waitresses need to pay attention to such details because this hotel come with some stars in the back and they need to make the experience of the client the best possible, its in their advantage, its pro TIP if you pay attention. this will be the minus. Another minus, the pillows!! I had a hard time sleeping on them. This review is to get better at things, not complaining.

The hotel is very nice and clean, nothing to argue here, however I would have preferred that the hallways would be wooden floors and carpet, which makes it difficult to walk on with the shoe covers. The breakfast is amazing, the coffee is good, but I do not understand why they have to use 2 types coffee brands (one for breakfast which is included in the price and one for which you pay, meaning you get the lower quality brand for 100euros per night). There was also one receptionist on our second day that seemed offended by the fact that we asked her questions while she was speaking all day on her personal phone. We tried also the desert, it wasn’t the best desert out there, the cream from the tiramisu was old, had a weird taste, the chocolate bubble has absolutely no taste, the mille feuille was not mille feuille, it was a cheesecake. 2 of our friends tried also the pasta and mushroom soup (supa de hribi), the pasta tasted like they were reheated in the oven, the soup was too heavy. Hotel nou, prețul camerei cu booking ca. 89-90€/ noapte e foarte ok având in vedere ca hotelul se afla in mijlocul naturii si se poate vedea din poze ca arată bine. Din păcate peisajul e imposibil de admirat din hotel după cum se poate observa și in poze. In jurul hotelului se construiește fără a tine cont ca se distruge din peisaj. In aproape tot hotelul este mocheta de culoare beige🫣, iar la intrare ți se cere sa îți infoliezi încălțămintea intr-o folie de plastic (vezi poze) 😅. Aici se pare ca nu a auzit nimeni ca plasticul e no go in mijlocul naturii. Hotelul e curat si frumos amenajat. Personalul își da silința sa păstreze curățenia. Angajații de la Recepție nu știu sa ofere informații, sa fie amabili… se fac erori așa cum se poate vedea in poza cu lenjeria de pat…. La plecare se verifica camera pentru a vedea dacă nu lipsesc produse ca de ex. din mini bar 😅🙈 Asa sunt serviciile in România și așa sunt romanii chiar si la hoteluri care se doresc de 4* si chiar după atâția ani de când suntem in UE. Pentru priveliștea din camera am fost de-a dreptul suparata. Am venit in concediu la munte sa fiu deranjata de la ora 7:30 de sunetele Șantierului. Este inacceptabil. După ce m-am plâns la Recepție au încercat sa îmi ofere o alta camera doar ca pentru restul de 2 -3 zile nu am mai dorit sa ma mut (din timpul meu liber) pe partea spre parcare deasupra terasei restaurantului unde afara se și fumează. Camera mea Deluxe cu vedere spre șantier a fost și gălăgioasa se auzeau zgomote din camerele vecine pana târziu. Sistemul de climatizare in special in baie foarte gălăgios. In hotel exista o camera de Fitness foarte ok utilată dar încă nu exista Wellness și din păcate informația aceasta a lipsit. Restaurantul arata ca o sala de evenimente foarte pompoasă.
