Hanul Cu Ursi — Hotel in Moroeni

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to be.This little inn in the middle of nowhere, offers a nice view (beautiful Bucegi mountains) away from civilization (but not far enough so it doesn't become inaccessible). It has it's own little restaurant, so you could just eat there without having to go to Sinaia. If you are a vegan however, you have little choice here.||The rooms are small but cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. The cherry on the cake, however, is the window in the ceiling of every room. Because we were in such isolated and high altitude place, we could see the stars perfectly from our window, it was breathtaking.||Howver, my for this place is 4 and not 5. That is because of the swimming pull they advertise (that is situated in a building 100 meters from the inn), which looks lousy. No one in their right mind would ever use that!||Ignoring the pool problem, our stay there was quite lovely. We hiked, went on sleigh rides and enjoyed the peace and quiet...

Location is remote, in the mountains on the way to Tranabucegi and promising at first, but good things stop here. ||Surrounding area is filled with materials from different constructions/repairs, every little noise is audible from the hall, shower leaking tons of water (and we paid attention exactly for this not to happen), rooms require renovation, cannot adjust temperature in the room from the digital thermostat. ||||Breakfast included in the price at the nearby hotel was very good though. Did not try the spa/swimming pool which is included in the price, price which seems too high after...

Very interesting design, nice combination of old and new, strange outlook and warm inside. The hotel is rather small, giving you a nice privacy feeling.||Rooms are very modern with all facilities, downstairs is a good restaurant serving both Romanian and international dishes and top on all the staff is very friendly.||When you want to relax out of the city madness,...
