They offered me a baby foldable bed with NO matress, so my baby slept 1 night on a piece of wood, being up to us to find solutions. The owner and the receptionist offered me blankets and towels as if my baby was a dog and they didn't know that a baby needs to sleep on a matress. NOBODY appologized. We had to go next day and insist to have a matress for the next night, while they did not even bother to call to check on us and give a solution first thing in the morning. Full of spider nets in the rooms (we had 3 rooms), looking as if nobody entered there in 3 years. Showers didn't work properly. Bad smell in the bathrooms. Dirty in corners and under the beds. Two very small and thin pillows in a big bed, one of them all yellow and dirty and with no cover. We asked for 2 more, they promissed them but we never got them. Rolling eyes and bossy attitudes everywhere. Breakfast is a disaster, you get sick from your stomach only by looking. We got also the worst dinner in my life there, feeling like a pacient who eats in a romanian public hospital: no taste, no salt, terrible looking. Kitchen is visible a bit and looks so dirty, as well as the tables feel. Service is absolutely terrible, they use some kids from breakfast to dinner, that have no clue about anything, forget to bring things and change. Music loud at the bar until 10:30. If you need something nobody answers the phone or calls you back. The owner walks around and doesn't even say hello to his guests. Nobody registered not even one guest of our group and that is pretty ilegal. Nobody asked us how was everything. They deny people's reviews, as I saw in their replies to people giving feedback similar to mine in some aspects. One thing that is on the high level: PRICE. Concept and location are nice and that can trick you. Later edit after the reply: I didn't expect anything less from your answer. How unprofessional can you be not to be able to receive a feedback and to start to acusse your guests? Yes, we paid 900 lei for flowers and a cake made with puding and nobody obliged you to do bring them for us, we paid without any receipt (which is pretty ilegal) and thanked you gor it. I apologised for calling you everytime and said hello everytime because that's how I'm educated to do, are you as well? At 22:00 I called you to tell you that you forgot to put a mattress on my baby's bed and your great solutions were a one single person mattress that could never fit the bed or towels!!! Thank you for your extreme effort and I appologise for bothering with such a stupid thing. Next morning the owner who offered us the solutions saw us with the baby and said a big NOTHING! FYI, your complaint to Consumer Protection is sent. Get ready to take us to court for not seeing your anouncements about drinks that you never bothered to tell us about. Not bothered to ask how was everything either, after having such a great night. Nobody sent the pillows, dear lady! I put a matress under the one soft and thin pillow. My opinion has nothing to do with your other guests opinion and expectations. Do not worry, none of the 8 of us was willing to ho back to you. You and your attitude of a lady who works in a public institution since comunism is actually the first reason that convinced us you were a mistake.

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at Nena Art Resort, and our experience was truly wonderful. The property is stunning, with beautiful decor that perfectly represents the local area. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the owners and staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Our stay began with a warm welcome from Mr. Dumi, who was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. His attentive and friendly demeanor made us feel like home. The highlight of our trip was the sunset boat trip with Alex, which far exceeded our expectations. Alex's knowledge and passion for the area were evident as he shared fascinating information and insights with us, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. All the staff at Nena Art Resort were exceptional. Their friendliness and genuine enjoyment of their work created a welcoming atmosphere that made our stay even more delightful. It was clear that they take great pride in providing excellent service, and this added to the overall charm of the resort. The rooms at Nena Art Resort were beautifully decorated, super clean, and very comfortable. The pool area was equally impressive, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay at Nena Art Resort was fantastic, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway. The combination of beautiful property, exceptional staff, and wonderful experiences made our visit truly special.

Such a getaway spot, oozes provincial charm. Wonderful, considerate hosts doing their best to advance and improve their offering. Facilities include pools and Riverside deck. Breakfast/dinner was a stroll away which was fine. Food is okay. Razvan looked after us in the dining room, with charm and professionalism. We availed of a day cruise trip down the Danube to the Black sea with an experienced (15+years) skipper- which is valuable in itself. Nature all around you, its quite a privilege. We stopped off on the beach, 25lei each for a lounger and parasol. We went to an agri-coop for set lunch based on local Romania faire, food/wine was okay but it's a good investment in the local community and the setting is purpose built, clean and comfortable. We agreed 2 nights dinner b&b wasn't enough time here, so we'll be back. It's a genuine welcoming space that's good for the soul and artists wishing to live alongside nature.
