Hotel Restaurant & Spa Poezia — Hotel in Negresti-Oas

The hotel is located in a very wonderful area, surrounded by hills and and forest. Everything is new and very elegant, very pleasant esthetically. They have spa, gaming area, nice restaurant. The gaming area is in the basement where they host an exhibition of historical etnographical objects and photos. The spa area is in a great state, very new. The receptionist was nice and helpful. It was very clean everywhere. The room is nice, large balcony and beautiful view. The service at the restaurant was good, the dishes we had were ok. Comfortable sleep in the bed, good mattress. ||We chose this place mostly for spa and the experience was bad there. We tried to communicate in advance on Booking regarding the facilities and turning on the saunas, but they did not respondyand the saunas were off. After almost 2 hours the dry one was at 45 degrees, not hot enough, and due to risk of power outage we were asked not to turn on the wet one. The big pool water was probably around 20 degrees, very cold, could not be used, only the jacuzzi got warmer in the end. Overall it was not warm enough in that spa space and on top of that power was going out occasionally. The restaurant menu has 2 parts, one with Romanian dishes and more reasonable prices, and one with international dishes some of which are more fancy and a lot more pricey, often with stickers to show price increases. There is almost no cell phone service and unfortunately we happened to need it, WiFi also weak. The window of our room was towards an area where all kitchen smells were coming in. The breakfast was in large quantity but all pre-packaged food, regular mid range off the shelf and full of preservatives and colorants, nothing local or healthy in an area which thrives in local produce and overall not at the standard of such an elegant place. We happened to have a stay which was below our expectations also considering the price we paid and other stays we had in the area, but the place has a lot of potential and it can definitely be better. O ședere așteaptă, cu o experiență mai puțin plăcută...

Luna august este mereu specială pentru noi, datorită aniversării noastre de căsătorie. Anul asta m-am decis că un weekend de tip "getaway" la Hotelul Poezia ar fi cadoul perfect pentru soțul meu și pentru mine la fel, dar decizia mea s-a dovedit că era mai puțin perfectă.

Hotelul Poezia într-adevăr are multe puncte forte: așezarea hotelului este una perfectă, vederea de pe balconul camerei este una "ca din povești", clădirea este foarte bine întreținută, curățenia nu lasă de dorit, doamna Veronica de la recepție este o persoană inedită, care a dat dovadă de profesionalism și în momentul check-in-ului, și în momentul plecării iar despre angajații hotelului putem să zicem că au fost foarte primitori, deși sunt depășiți de numărul mare al clienților de la restaurant în orele de vârf...

Lângă calitățile hotelului, sunt și niște aspecte mai puțin plăcute, pe care dacă punem în balans cu prețul camerelor, sunt inacceptabile: în hotel se țin și evenimente private (este clar, la majoritatea hotelurilor așa se întâmplă), dar noi nu am fost informați în momentul rezervării despre faptul că în acest weekend o să fie ținută o nuntă, la câțiva metri distanță de camera noastră (stând de vorbă cu alți oaspeți, ne-am dat seama că nu numai în cazul nostru s-a omis informarea). Prima noapte (27 august) a fost foarte liniștită, până dimineața când de la aproximativ ora 7 dimineața s-a auzit un ciocănit puternic și cu ușile închise (bănuim că de la bucătărie), dar trecem peste, fiindcă știm că șnițelul nu se face singur... Însă a doua noapte nu era deloc relaxant cu o nuntă care se ținea cu ușa deschisă la doar câțiva metri de la camera noastră. Nu dorim să fim înțeleși greșit, va urăm casă de piatră cuplului, însă la prețul achitat așteptam de la acest weekend liniște și relaxare... Nicidecum gălăgie și muzică la maxim (din păcate nu pot să adaug la acest comentariu filmarea unde se aude ce gălăgie a fost la ora 1:05 noaptea cu ușa închisă la camera noastră). Credem că așteptările noastre în privința raportului preț-calitate nu au fost exagerate.

Lângă experiența descrisă, avem și niște recomandări pe viitor: În sezonul plin să încercați să măriți numărul angajaților. Într-un hotel de 4 stele nu se justifică timpul de așteptare atât de îndelungat la mese (la cină), nici mâncarea rece (experiența a fost împărtășită și de ceilalți oaspeți), nici greșeală/lipsă la comenzi.

2.În jacuzzi concentrația clorului era extrem de ridicată (mai ales în data de 27 august). Dacă nu sunt pornite funcțiile jacuzzi-ului, este cât de cât acceptabil, dar dacă vrei să te bucuri din plin, pur și simplu ai senzația că ai făcut curat într-o baie prea mică cu mult prea mult Domestos.

În cazul în care la descrierea hotelului se introduce și folosirea saunelor, se recomandă că aceste să fie pornite (o singură zi era pornită una dintre saunele, în rest aceste au avut doar un rol de design).

Am fost în mijlocul pădurii, deci este de înțeles prezența insectelor, dar cu o plasă la ușile balcoanelor fiecărui client al hotelului o să fie scutit de ciupiturile țânțarilor, care indiferent de frig sunt prezenți în cameră și pe balcon.

În concluzie: deși vremea de afară era destul morocănoasă, ai putut să petreci weekendul în incinta hotelului, însă cu mult prea multe compromisuri la un preț destul de ridicat.Suntem conștienți că dacă șederea noastră nu ar fi fost într-o perioadă atât de aglomerată, totul ar fi fost mai liniștit și sperăm că dacă o să mai trecem vreodată pragul hotelului, o să putem împărtăși o experiență mai plăcută.Observațiile și recomandările noastre nu vor să fie răutăcioase, doar un punct de reper ca să ajungeți "până la nivelul stelelor" (menționat pe site-ul oficial a hotelului), fiindcă este păcat de investiția proprietariilor, dacă din cauza greșelilor ușor corectabile se formează un gust amar în gura clienților.
