Páva - Restaurant, hotel, wellness — Hotel in Odorheiu Secuiesc

It is always a pleasure to be in Szekelyudvarhely.(odorheiu secuiesc). Pava pension or as I found on map Villa Vitae-I wonder why has 2 different name🤔-it is a nice pension located on a place with beautiful view. I must tell that the price all over on the town are quite high, maybe because of the hungarian tourists, anyway after a calculation this pension had the most reasonable price. It was 210 lej for 2 person, with breakfast 30lei/person and spa entrance 15/lei/person included. All The staff it is extremly nice and helpful, I thank them in this way, at the reception and in restaurant too. The food in the restaurant it is best maybe in the hole town, I am telling this after a research with visits of one hour at the most of local restaurants. The prices are not low, but there are for sure delicious. And they have a chocolate cake with raspberry, oh my Good something unbelievable amazing- even if I am not a chocolate fun.. you must try it!🥰 The reasons why I did not 5 stars are the followings: The mattress of the bed are very uncomfortable, it must change it.. because it is one of most important thing in a hotel to rest and sleep well. The rooms were above of kitchen and I am very sensitive for any smell, so a litle bit smelled the kitchen smells... Others it is nice, it has also terracce and free parking place, and the location is quite with good air. I will return here when I will travel here again. Thank you and highly recommand it!

Update. As I promised i have returned. I am sad to say that I was SOCKED how dirty was every chair. It is pity, because they meantine bought a frige for maturated beef and you can not clean the carpet from the chair!? really? The tablecloth is also with grease stains. I was very disappointed. Even so, the food was good also this time. Pity for...

Two thumbs up!! We were staying at Septima (never again) and should have stayed here instead. We celebrated my father-in-law’s 70th birthday and enjoyed our festive dinner in their wonderful restaurant. True fine dining in style with amazing local as well as international dishes and fantastic wines. Páva takes pride in it’s origin and serves truly mouth-watering dishes clearly prepared with great care and passion. The icing on the cake was our super professional and friendly host and waiter Lóránd who has in-depth knowledge of every single menu item and wine list. I am Dutch and we live in Belgium but all I can say is that I have seldomly met such a professional, passionate and above all friendly waiter in my part of the world. We will definitely return and also stay at their hotel next time we are in the country! Thank you for a great evening which more than compensated for the horrible treatment we received at Septima’s restaurant earlier that day. People….if you are ever near this beautiful town, you MUST...

Came here because the restaurant had good reviews. I believe the reviews are paid as the food has no taste and is overpriced. Also, our table was dirty and the waiters did not bother to clean it...I had to clean the table by myself...No atmosphere in the restaurant.... The furniture in the room is old and much different than in the pictures of the travel agency we have reserved. Overall, we are very disappointed, we came here in particular for the restaurant and the food is terrible and tasteless. I am not advising. The only nice person was the receptionist at the entrance. Food is s*, service is bad and they also have the courage to say to leave a 8% service fee in case you liked their service... what service? dirty table? What a disaster place...ah, and the prices, I don't even want to talk about them... A robbery... this is probably my worst review ever and trust me I've been to many places in this world, not...
