Țaka b&b — Hotel in Orșova

We booked a three person room online, only to be told at arrival that the room is no longer available and me and my two sons (15 and 18) have to squeeze in a room for two with a child size fold-able bed. We were told that there is no other room available so pretty much "take it or leave it". Obviously they didn't bother calling us in advance to tell us the three person room no longer is available.||Our room faced the river but was located downstairs, just under the restaurant and the kitchen, their restaurant is open 24 hours / day that was great for hungry travelers arriving at midnight but bad for us because we could hear what the guests were talking in the restaurant and also the meat tendering.||Even in our rooms the noise from the highway could be heard so I guess the street noise in the rooms facing the highway is unbearable.||I gave an extra rating point for AC and...

We booked 2 rooms one night on 13 Aug - 14 Aug on booking.com . When i arrived they told me they don't find me on the list of reservation. After 300 km i was forced to make another 100 km until next accommodation because it was in on holidays and all hotels,pensions were full around 30km of Orsova. We made reclamation on booking.com to solve this and the response of the owners was that we arrived (19:00 pm) after check-in hours (18:00 pm), which it is true, but at the reception they told us that they doesn't have any reservation with our names.The owners are unreliable and the money is the first thing that they have in mind. Was recommended by a local, but not impressed. The food was average (for my taste, maybe some would find it excellent, I didn’t), extremly overpriced!! 18lei/100g of fish is outrageous, may I remind the owner that most nationals are not millionaires. We paid 500 ron for 4 adults (4 soups, 4 main dishes with fish and 3 desserts and drinks). Later we noticed that they forgot to add 2 drinks, with value of 26 ron or something like that. Outrageous amount compared to other places where same order would be no more than 200 ron. Value for money 2/10!!! Would not come again.
