Hotel Meridian Orsova — Hotel in Orșova

Unfortunately, the experience I had was not at all pleasant.

I was totally disappointed to have a filthy room, full of ants and hairs. Moreover, we found a cockroach in the room.

The bathroom was dirty.

Even the next day when staff came to clean, ants were walking behind the bed and in the bathroom. So cleanliness is superficial.

The hotel offers free WiFi internet but it has not worked at all in the 3 days that we stayed.

Like the good parts I found the restaurant. The restaurant offers good food and the staff is very friendly.

The restaurant I really liked but unfortunately cannot compensate with bad things.

As the location is ok. It is right downtown and you reach the boat cruises in 5 minutes walk.

Let's hope that they will take account of this review and will fix the mistakes...

We travelled as a group of 5 , has confortabile rooms ( 2 double and 1 single). Besides breakfast which îs included in the BB offer, we ordered dinner and our hostess prepared delicios tradițional meals with farm producte.Large clean rooms, perfect views from our balconies. We made a reservation over the phone for 3 rooms, 4 days in advance. They asked at what time we'll reach and if we wanted a boat trip, but we stated we're not sure on the exact time. We asked if the reception is opened 24/7 and they confirmed. When we got there, they simply stated they gave our rooms away (it was 9 pm). They did not call us (they stated they didn't have the number (?!?!) and acted like this is normal...||||Please avoid this hotel. We found a way better place, much cheaper and with a view. It ended up just perfect for us, so...in your...
