The Nook Events - Evenimente, Restaurant & Cazare — Hotel in Pădureni

This hotel is perfect, and it has Character! ||I searched for a hotel near Timisoara, possibly with pool, and Popasul Caprioarei looked just right.||||Reservation by phone was easy. The hotel is easy to find and has plenty parking. Cards accepted. Papasul gives the impression of a family-operated guesthouse and restaurant, and I liked it a lot.||||Check-in was smooth, Room was Excellent with a balcony overlooking the well-kept garden. Wifi was upwards of 60Mbps.||||The pool is Large and Clean, with lots of sunbeds and a bar nearby.||||The Restaurant served me an Excellent dinner, with fast and smooth service (my waiter-guy also spoke fluent French). I had the impression I was the only non-romanian, and some of the guests were on a nice family holiday with the kids having lots of fun in pool and garden.||||Bed was Excellent to sleep in.||Breakfast was Abundant and tasty, serviced by a friendly grandpa.||Checkout was smooth.||||All in all an Excellent place to stay for 1 night stay, but also suitable for a...

A great location ruined by mediocre food. Located a few kilometers from Timișoara, the hotel/restaurant is located in a quiet location, surrounded by nature. There's a spacious garden, plenty of parking spaces, a playground for children, and even an outdoor pool.

Our waiters were really friendly but somewhat slow with our orders. They didn't seem very knowledgeable about the available ingredients but at least were willing to ask the kitchen staff.

Unfortunately the food was subpar and unreasonably expensive. The carbonara sauce was most likely was store-bought (tasted as such), the BBQ sauce served with the pork ribs was also store-bought. The walnut dessert was probably the only one hand-made and it was full of hard walnut shells.

We have visited the place on a very hot summer afternoon, hoping on a nice chill near the swimmingpool and a fine dinner, as advertised. ||First impression - an unpleasant smell in the pool area. Around the pool there are sunbeds, but only a very few umbrellas, so no shadow in a very very very hot day. However, he pool water was extremely cold.||We went then to the restaurant on the other side of the building.
