Hotel Maryo Ploiesti — Hotel in Ploiești

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and was entirely happy with it, especially with the value for money and the warmth of the welcome. ||||My room was big and clean, and the bed very large. It had a good flat screen TV with about 60 channels - including several in English (with Romanian subtitles). The shower was powerful and hot each morning, although the fitting was broken, requiring a little ingenuity. ||||They cooked me a couple of eggs to order each morning, served with coffee, cold cuts, bread and cheese, which set me up well for the day. There's no restaurant - there's one being built in the hotel, but it looks some while from completion.||||The hotel's location is a quiet street opposite a cemetery. It's about 10 minutes walk to shops, including several supermarkets of various sizes. The centre of the town is quite a lot further, but taxis are cheap.||||The hotel owner picked me up from Bucharest airport and took me back at the end of the stay, for what I thought was a very reasonable fee. His English is very limited, but that wasn't an issue for me.||||This is a very good quiet,...

I used to stay at another hotel but my manager put me on this one coz he didnt knew ..and my surprise was ..that whe ni woke up at 1am or 2am to go to the bathroom..there were roaches on the table...couldnt sleep anymore...had fears that i will take them to my home and infest the place.
