Hotel Nova Residence — Hotel in Popești-Leordeni

We stopped in this hotel twice on our road to Black Sea: on a way there and back. ||Both times our room was very clean, nice modern bathroom, hot water and comfortable mattress. People in hotel administration are very friendly, even though some of them do not really speak English. That's the most important if you are on a long road. Also it is cheap. That's why we came second time and we regretted.||||First time our experience was much better as we got 4 floor room and it was less exposed to noises on the road, and in the hotel lobby. ||||For more than one night we would not recommend this hotel because it is difficult to have a good rest:||- it's on a road, very busy and noisy road and also very dusty. ||- inside hotel room doors are located very close to each other on floors 1 to 3, we were very much disturbed till late at night by noises and slamming doors of neighbours. Also we could hear everything from the lobby.||- breakfast is poor||- the hotel is located 9-10 km from centre of Bucharest, and to nearest Metro you need to walk about 2 km through a very dusty streets.||||Besides that what you never know what room you will get - booking info and real offer may differ, but anyway all rooms are clean.||||The hotel may be difficult to find, as it is located in the area just out of the Bucharest, while hotel address says it is IN the city, this confuses navigator. Check twice!||||FOR DISABLED GUESTS: elevator doest not go to the 4th floor and also to the breakfast room, inform the hotel that you want breakfast in your room and ask for rooms on the 1st...

Did not get at all comfortable while in there. Wasn't the worst hotel ever, but definitely not ideal either. We got a family room and the place came with 2 rooms and a bathroom, 1 double bed in one and a single bed separated into the other room. Storage space, is basically nonexistent. All you get is a teeny closet and a fridge. My room, the single, didnt even have anything except a fridge and a single chair. Bed was creaky, everything was audible, from neighbors next door, to the people downstairs, to the workers chatting outside. Even the fridge kept moaning. No nightlight, atleast not in the single room for me so i just had to sleep with the big light on because I get paranoid in the dark, while still wearing my headphones cause of the noisiness from the kids downstairs yelling and running. Also, charging outlets are in the most random places imaginable, and are very few. None in the single, one in the double room next to the floor, one in the hallway which is way too high for a phone to charge without it dangling, and one in the bathroom corner.

Bathroom was okay, but the biggest issue was the bathtub as there was no curtain so much of the floor ended up getting wet, plus the tub itself kept creaking and moaning with each step which was extremely annoying. Would not recommend and would definitely not go to again unless it was...

If i could give -1 i would give it. The sheets from the beds are dirty, cleaning ladys take any bags they thinks it's trash, even if it's not trash, the owner tells you to not use the air conditioning for more than 30min straight, to not turn the lights on during day time, and the worst thing i noticed was they turn off the electricity of your room if you use too much of electricity and they tell you its an air conditioning mal function. Sadly i have to stay here for 4 weeks. Avoid this hotel,...
