Nordic Twins — Hotel in Rădăuți

Alright at whole. Rooms are nice and spacious with large beds and a modern refurbished bathroom

However bathrooms could use a wall mounted bidet. Not sure why there isn’t one considering how spacious the bathrooms are.

Along with this, shower isn’t too comfortable as there is no shelves to put your body wash, soap, razor, and shampoo etc. need to put everything on the floor and keep bending to pick everything up. No reason at all to not add shelves.

Hair dryer is not too good. Takes me about 15 minutes to fully dry my hair

Secondly, service in restaurant is not great. Food takes VERY long even when you’re the only one in the restaurant.

Me and my partner ordered a medium rare steak. Both of our steaks were well done and not eatable… chef clearly does not know how to cook steak, so avoid ordering it.

It’s very hard to get someone’s attention to ask for something or to ask for the bill.

Along with this, considering this is a hotel (where people from other countries will stay), there is no English menu…

People at reception are mostly clueless about anything and aren’t any help. We ran out of toilet paper (cleaning lady would not add more) and the man at reception just shrugged his shoulders when we asked where we can get more from. Had to buy some from a local supermarket…

Overall, aesthetically a very nice looking hotel. Looks prestige. But service knocks...

For the second week that I came there was still no hot water. We arrived at around 5:40pm, checked in and headed to our room, as we had been on the rode all day exahusted form all the travelling we settled our luggage and decided to have a rinse before settling down to sleep. But no water was available We went to the front desk and asked what the issue was and if it could be fixed, as the same problem happened a week before. They kindly told us that there was some issue with the pipes/plumbing and that we should be patient as it was not only our room but the whole building and that they had someone come in to fix it, and stated that within a time frame of 20 min there should be available. Within that time we had decided To go for dinner while the problem was being dealt with. Estimatedly over an hour and half passes by we came back let the water run, still no hot water.Tried to call by using the wired phone provided by the room, no one answered, three more tries we gave up and decided to let time fly but watching TV. Great swimming area and sauna, everything looks spot on and treat you with respect, they even let me stay over the time bought. The only thing that I didn’t like is that they switched off the lights for 20 seconds, 5 minutes past closing time while I was showering as a sign to hurry up because it’s closing. In the restaurant the food looks amazing and the staff treated us very nice, the only disappointing thing is that they brought me the salad I ordered before my soup and had to wait while my friends were having their food, when I received my soup it was cold and it seemed like they heat it up in the microwave as my bowl was hot but not the soup so I asked them to keep the soup and salad as my friends were nearly done with their mains and wanted to have the desert in the same time with them so we can leave right after, I had the delicious New York desert . At the end they offered me to take the salad for take away as it didn’t have any problems, too bad I came to have it there and not at home, I could tell that the waiter wasn’t very happy with...
